This works great for the masters chalk that I use. The only issue I have with it is how far the chalk sticks out. I think the holder should go to the edge. It does take some getting used to and using the magnetic clip on my hip. I have accidentally knocked it off already which was annoying. The magnet is decently strong but you don’t want it too strong so that you struggle to separate the two parts so overall that is pretty good.

I'm very impressed by this chalk holder! I love that it has little tiny bolts to tighten in the chalk, so it's not going to get loose like some of the rubber chalk holders. Very handy that they put a little spot to put the Allen wrench.Nice strong magnet, not a light bump while passing a table and your chalk is now missing.I state the obvious because I had a glimmer of hope. It didn't fit predator chalk(octagon chalk) I had a hope, but I would have had to shave it, and I don't think it would have gotten any of the tension points.
