I would not call these luxury towels. They aren't all that big. I get bigger, thicker ones for much cheaper elsewhere but they are nice. So far have washed up well with nothing coming apart. I was just hoping for more.

Holy cow are these towels soft!!! I'll be honest, I ordered these towels to use as bath towels not beach towels. I love having a larger towel to dry off with and typically order bath sheets, not the standard size towels which only measure around 27" x 54", but occasionally I will order beach towels if I find a set that I like because they are close in size to bath sheets. When I saw this set I fell in love with the simple colorful stripe pattern and was excited that they were made of combed cotton which I know is incredibly soft and absorbent. They arrived so neatly packaged with a pretty ribbon tied around them and had absolutely zero odor. I washed them in cold water and dried them on low heat per the instructions on the label and they came out feeling just as soft, almost softer, and had no color fading or bleeding for that matter. I used one the next day after a shower and was very pleased with how soft they felt while drying me off and loved that they did not shed any lint when doing so. They are relatively plush which sometimes will lengthen drying time after use, but did not do so with these towels...they dried in a respectable amount of time, did not wrinkle and did not develop any odor that can sometimes come about when drying times are long. The quality of the towels is top notch. They are made with a super soft cotton that has a very dense pile and the stitching is even and tight throughout. This is a really excellent set of towels, and while I am using them as bath towels, I will safely assume that they are just as great if being used as beach towels. I ordered the 1969 style and like the 1977 style as well but would love to see them bring in additional styles to their collection. I would gladly order additional sets of these towels for myself or as gifts. Great product...you will not be disappointed.

These plush terry cloth towels are luxuriant, and take me back to my childhood when I used to fight with my brother about who would get that one favorite towel.... The colors are vibrant and nostalgic, classic.Heavy enough to comfortably use to dry off at least twice, or even two people, each towell is generously sized, large enough to comfortably fit around anyone, and possible as a cover-up for most.These would be at home at a nice beach house, a standout at the YMCA pool, or just to use as luxury bath towels. They're not quite the heaviest towel I've ever encountered, but they are every bit as nice as I'd hoped.

WOW! These towels are so cute and so soft! We have an above ground pool we put up every spring and of course the one thing we seem to always be running out of is beach towels (kids like to use one for 5 minutes and toss it in the wash lol). These have been set a side for the hubs and I cause they are so nice. These fabric is soft and the towel is the perfect size. I love the colors and that they soak up water well. Really fun item!
