I was able to successfuly use the key lockfor 3 different times. When I tried to use it again the little metal part that ypu need to move from position A to B to dial the new code stayed fixed and therefore I could not use it again. My guests would not be able to open the box to get the keys out. This is the 2nd key box I buy that has the same problem. I intend to send the product back today.

I bought this because the one I purchased from the hardware store kept freezing. The cover on this keeps the lock dry. It's very easy to set up and use. Great option for keeping your key safe and accessible in the elements.

This is used in a high volume process where many people need access to the same key.Mostly metal and is working great. Might buy one for the house. Not waterproof or watertight

I wouldn't recommend this for anything that is valuable. It is easy to reset the code by accident and then you can't reopen it. We had to cut it off

Funny when you think about it...However I reside in a small apartment complex where the gate entrance is key entry only. Landlord didn't have any alternative for needs of deliveries, pretty much all amazon....and also emergency personnel. A resident with a 911 health emergency had to go downstairs to open the gate and go out to the sidewalk to the EMS and firefighters. That's not great.....So as everyone's favorite resident I took it upon myself to order this lock box to store a gate key so we could provide the code and an option for easy access for deliveries, emergencies and the whoops I locked myself out occasions. We have a black gate so this blends in really well. I like that it has a smooth front flap that even covers that there is a lock there.Residents are psyched, we have happy Amazon delivery drivers now. So for such a small amount of investment, the return of sheer joy is well worth it!

I would have liked bigger holes to attach to a wall with longer and thicker screws of bolts. Not the 1/2 inch wood screws included in the box.
