This is a great hiking pack. It fits both myself, a 200lb female, and my 12 year old son. The 3 liter water bladder can be attached with 2 velcro straps. Other bags I have used only have one strap and I love this addition. The back is padded with ventilation channels so your back doesn't overheat during warmer weather hiking excursions. There is an emergency whistle attached to the chest clip and the waist belt has additional storage for quick grab items. The design was really well thought out and the execution and build quality make this right up there with Osprey day packs.

Great backpack. Just used it on an 8 mile hike and held up. Your back does get very sweaty wearing it though, it's not very breathable in the back. It's also not made for broad shoulders or big chested. Both my husband and I couldn't use the straps across but it's lightweight that it wasn't needed. Love the extra pockets and really easy to get the bladder in and out of it for easy cleaning.

Pretty nice backpack. I was looking for a 3L water bladder and this one works well. It's a nice size upgrade from the common 2L options. This backpack will work well for elementary school aged kids up to medium sized adults.

And by regular use, I mean about once a week. The material is medium weight and looks really durable. Construction is first rate. The shoulder straps are quite wide and are padded. They would be better if the padding was thicker and more rigid, but these are better than many. The waist straps have small pockets at the back. Since they're not very large, this is where I would keep spare batteries. Likewise the mesh side pockets are small (maybe large enough for a small water bottle, but you shouldn't need to carry those with a hydration pack like this) but big enough for a few energy bars. The only major disappointment for me is that there are no pockets in the main compartment, other than for the hydration pack. But there are several pockets in the smaller compartments further to the rear.

This is a neat bag, and the 3L water reservoir is fantastic. I got this for my partner, and it is a lightweight solution to day hiking. It fits her (she's 5'10") well, and the strap pockets are great for easy access. It's a few steps up from a regular backpack, and the material held the weight of the water and a few essentials for the day hike. We've only been out once with it, but it held up well. Will update if it starts to fall apart, but so far so good.

For the price, you can't beat this solution. Great for hikes, or long walks. We take 3 to 4 hour walks with our dogs through local forest often and the size and comfort of this bag is great. Love not having to carry a water bottle and having this handy water available.I love the waste straps - which really enhance the comfort. The backpack seems fairly well made for the price, and I like that it isn't just a water storage bag, but also has space for storage as well. Plenty of water to make it through our long walks too. Very happy.

On first glance, this hydration pack seemed surprisingly well-designed, but on closer inspection, there were several noteworthy flaws.First, the good:1) This thing has pockets galore. Everywhere you could think of to put a pocket, this pack has it. Pockets within pockets, side netting, and even pockets on the side straps (though they're so small, it's hard to imagine what you'd put in there.)2) The back has 3 ergonomically-designed cushions, which are clearly designed to allow air flow between the carrier and your back, thus preventing unnecessary heating of the water in the bladder. Good stuff.3) While the straps and clasps don't exactly inspire confidence, they seem to be sufficient for the task.4) It does have multiple rings and clasps to hang other things from, albeit plastic ones.5) It has some high-vis reflective material on the back.6) It is very lightweight. Now the bad:1) The bladder does not seem to be well-constructed. It seems to be more plastic than other flexible material, so I wonder how well it would hold up to being jostled or squashed. It would probably need to be replaced right away.2) The drinking hose requires the nozzle to be placed at a 90 degree angle in order to shut off the water flow (see picture,) and even then, I was able to suck air through the hose about as easily as I did with the valve open. No bueno.3) There is no opening in the pack for the fill hole on the bladder. You have to unzip it to fill it up.4) There is also no pass-through for the hose. You just have to zip the pocket to basically wherever you want the hose to come out. This obviously causes problems, namely that the hose will be rubbing on the zipper the whole time, and the zipper is likely to open up, loosening the placement of the hose.5) As I mentioned previously, the straps and clasps don't exactly inspire confidence. I would also add the zippers to that list.6) The reflective material is limited to 2 stripes across the top and one 2x2 patch on the bottom. The emblem on the body of the pack that looks like it would be reflective actually isn't.7) The chest strap doesn't provide much room for larger chests. If your chest is larger than 44", this probably won't fit you.8) The straps that are meant to hold the bladder up...don't align with the holes in the bladder. *slaps forehead* (see picture)Given the price tag ($30 at the time of this writing,) I think they could have done better, especially with the bladder and hose. I would like the carrier if they had included pass-throughs for the hose and fill hole, and provided a little more slack in the chest strap. I suppose I could cut a hole for the hose, but I'm giving a review for the product as-is, not how it would be if I fixed it.

Such good quality all around! The mouthpiece is comfortable and easy to use, also easy to seal so it doesn't accidentally leak when not using it. I like that the bag has the option for the straw tube to come out the upper left hand or right hand side through a small inconspicuous hole on either side. The straps are well made and do a good job of taking the weight off the shoulders. I'm currently in my third trimester of pregnancy and the waist/hips straps are plenty adjustable enough to fit around my bump. The bag has lots of compartments of different sizes. A few good pockets for stashing stuff away and a few very easily accessible ones for easy reaching back or having someone else grab something for you while it's still on your back strapped on. Great little hiking pack or running pack that holds a solid 3 liters of water to keep you going!
