These protect the upper section of my tripod legs, are easy to hold onto and I'll never lose my tripod again!

I bought a set of these to protect the carbon fiber legs on my Gitzo GT1545T tripod legs. I initially bought the shorter 7" version but realized that these 11" Leg Coat wraps are a better fit and offered more protection. 10" would have been an even better fit, but the extra inch isn't a problem whatsoever. Note that Lenscoat advises to use the 7" version with the Gitzo GT1545T tripod, but I would recommend the longer 111 model for a few dollars more. They attach with velcro and seem to hold well with little or no twisting. I like knowing my expensive tripod legs are covered and protected from scratches and these look like they will do the job well.

Ordered these for my Manfrotto 190CXPro4 tripod but they are two inches too long! I don't really need them for a carbon fiber tripod since carbon I think wouldn't get as cold as metal, but these look and feel great plus they would protect the finish. The LenCoat 107 length will fit but it would be nice to have these a little longer. 9" inches would be perfect! For my old backup Manfrotto 190XPro3 tripod these fit perfect (even over the manfrotto rubber grips) so I will end up keeping them. Deducting one star for the Lens Coat label which was sewn on crooked making it look like a little "reject" even though they were offered at less than half the price here on amazon.ca.

Just received the LensCoat LegCoat Wraps for my Manfrotto 190cxPro3. The forest green pattern is a nice subdued, green, black, brown and beige pattern. It is not too thick and not to thin and the Velcro is substantial and very sticky. It is easy to put on. It takes a try or two to get it as good as possible. It does not fit perfectly, but it is darn good for a generic model..

Now my Manfrotto 190 has an improved look and feel with this leg coats.No more pain in my shoulder while hiking long distances.
