Amazing lights for your side view mirrors! The LEDs are much brighter than the original ones and the sequential lighting is awesome! A good value!

I had gotten these for my truck thinking smoked indicator lights would look cool. The item does not come with installation instructions, so looked up trusty YouTube to get the walkthrough. Once I got this installed, I noticed quickly that the light does to mount flush to the mirror and left ~1/8' gap around the edge near the back... which is poor design and manufacturing on the seller's part. I compared the light brightness of this item to stock and was disappointed to see a reduction in light from this smoked lens. I had hoped the LEDs would have been brighter, but they were significantly dimmer than stock. I noted also the LEDs on this item were all pointed forward, while the stock unit had two LEDs aimed towards the rear, which would provide better signaling to someone further behind the mirror. The back of this item seems to be missing some bulk on the back, as it definitely did not attach confidently to the mirror, whereas the stock light fight snugly and firmly. I'm giving this two stars out of five for poor design and manufacturing and dimmer light compared to stock. While it will remove the clear/chrome signal light and add a cool dark touch, it does no favors in actual performance.

Perfect fit for my 2012 Dodge Ram 2500. Smoked also looks better than the originals.
