After installing these, they are better than the stock lights in every way except one...they aren't reflective. THe stock lights are a small LED, surrounded by a retro-reflective amber assembly which illuminates when headlights hit it. These aftermarket lights are just a solid strip of LEDs, with no reflective assembly. So, I have decided not to park my car across highways in the dark with the lights off, and I doubt I'll have a safety problem here.Install was a bit more than I bargained for. The lights don't just pop out...there are two T20 torx bits on the back side that must be removed. I elected to remove the fender liner to get behind the front bumper, but you could also remove the front bumper cover, and you probably could also do it by removing the lower splash guard. Either way is a good bit of work, as there are multiple fasteners for whatever body panel you want to remove. Remove the two screws in the light, unplug the electrical connector, then reassemble in the reverse order. The whole process probably took between 1 and 2 hours for me. Not a huge deal, but not the 5 minute install I was hoping for.Now that they are installed, they look great. The LED pattern is way better than stock, and when they are off, they disappear since the lenses are smoked.
