It looks as though it is going to work out nicely. Straight out of the box, I pressed one set of the snap components together as a test. It worked perfectly and the fastener did snap together without problem. The instructions are unclear photos with minimal words which are mostly unhelpful or nonsensical. But still they will help somewhat in figuring out how to use this tool if you haven’t done so before.

Useful, the buttons it comes with aren't fancy but it is nice that it comes with them. Ussing it is a little confusing - even with instructions I kind of struggled to work out what the diagrams meant. Seems very durable, and it all comes packaged together nicely. Overall a good value, I think.

I ordered this to replace one that a friend “stole”. It is heavy enough to use and feels durable. It arrived with lots of snaps and backs & was ready to use out of the box! Great item!

Very well-made tool, does involve some practice with spare samples of material to get technique right. I expect this will turn out to be a handy device for other household projects, too. Never knew such a tool existed until I realized smaller sew-on snaps just weren't going to make it with the jacket on hand.

I had a couple of sewing projects and this snap fastener really helped it go smoothly! Even though the instructions were. a little unclear it was pretty straightforward to use. I especially appreciated that there is a ruler so when you are making holes for the buttons it's easy to get the size right without needing to switch between tools. It was also pretty light so weaker hands could use this without getting fatigued. I have no real major cons, it seems like it will hold up to multiple years of use!

This is just what I was looking for to help with my leather snaps. Easy to use. I love that it not only comes with the tools and 15mm snaps, but it also has the hole punch built into the tool as well. I tried the snaps that came with it. They work and hold great. No turning in the leather. I also tried some 12mm snaps I already have and it worked just as well with those too. I haven't tried anything larger, but it does say it can take 17mm snaps too. I use 12mm the most. The hold once I get them secured is perfect. This is a tool I'll be using a lot in my leather work.

This is a very nice Leather Snap Fastener Tool Kit that is essential for creating perfect snaps every time. I've done a lot of snap setting by hand, and a tool like this makes things so much faster and easier if you are doing a lot of snap setting at once. This Snap Fastener seems to be of good, durable quality and is very easy to handle, not creating a lot of hand and wrist strain. Included with the kit is an assortment of various snaps that seem to be the same type of standard snaps with many other "snaps only" assortments. I found no issues using this Snap Fastener with some of my existing snaps I keep in stock. The instructions for this Leather Snap Fastener Tool Kit are more of a pictorial nature which in my opinion is good for entry level snap setters.In my initial use, I performed ten snap setting tests and achieved a 9 out of 10 success rate with the one specific error like on my part of snapping leather that was a little bit thicker than the others. I will use this Snap Fastener kit for making more wrist and ankle bracelets, guitar straps, and custom leather belts.If you compare this Leather Snap Fastener Tool Kit to other similar kits found online or especially in brick and mortar craft and hobby stores, the price point seems just about right to me. I find this to be a very good quality tool that should last a lifetime with proper care. Highly recommend!Five Stars
