Such a cute magician set. It showed up fast and my son loved it. The magician wand did break the first day but it was an affordable set so didn’t bother me too much. Overall I think it was adorable and definitely worth it!

This magician costume for kids is tough to review. Some parts of it are really cute and perfect, while others are not executed as well. The best part is easily the cape. It’s double-lined to be black on the outside and bright red with stars/card print on the inside. The vest is also really nice with a Velcro closure that’s easy for kids to put on over another shirt or sweatshirt if it’s cold. After those highlights, the gloves, wand, and magic trick are all OK. The trick is nice quality, but it’s disappointing that it doesn’t come with any instructions. Finally, the hat is terrible and looks nothing like the well-formed one pictured. It’s made of felt and is folded into the bag with the costume, so it comes out irreparably wrinkled and awful-looking. A hat is a necessary component of this costume, but sadly the one provided is not attractive. Plan to buy a new hat, but otherwise it’s a cute costume.

My 8 year old daughter likes to dress up, and she also loves magic, so this costume combines two of her interests. The quality of the costume is average and aligns with the cost, so this is a pretty good value if you're trying to impress a child. For a child that has everything, this might not capture their attention, so keep this in mind. However, in the very least, it gives another option for halloween trick or treating!!

There is a lot of good stuff about this kit. The cape is nice quality and black outside with magic stars and cards inside. The vest worked well as well. Gloves, wand, and magic trick can be replaced by others if you want. The weak link is the hat which does not have a high quality and is just a folded piece of felt. Engaging for the little kids despite these downsides, we had a lot of fun with the little magician!

This costume set is perfect for little magicians! The vest, hat, cape, and wand make it a complete outfit for dress-up or themed parties. The materials are lightweight yet durable. A fun and imaginative set for kids.

This costume is made pretty nicely and will last through many play times. It is of better quality then a cheap Halloween costume. For the price which at the time of this posting was 19.99, is an excellent price for what you get.Cons:The hat is made of felt and comes all squished and doesn't look good even when you tried to straighten it. (See photos)The bowtie on the cape is not sewn on so it slips out of the little loop it's supposed to stay in. (See photo)

Our kids age 2-12 are having a lot of fun with this set! It is decently good quality for a costume. The sequins are metallic dots that are well adhered to the fabric, so I think they will hold up through the wash. The buttons are not true buttons, they have velcro on the back, so easy for kids to put on and take off themselves. Our 12 year old was doing magic tricks for her little brothers, pulling things, including bananas, out of the magic bag, and all night long I kept hearing about how we have 3 magic bananas. Ha! This is a fun set even for kids who don't dream of being magicians!
