The hitch I had to send back because when hitch was opened the two ends were not level, making g the load your carring hang down. I've sence bought another one that is level,

I have a hitch mounted cargo Carrier and was looking for something to make it foldable. This was exactly what I needed, so I didn't have to buy a new car carrier. This allows me to fold my current non-foldable car carrier. It is very heavy duty and seems to be very high quality steel. Has fantastic welds, does not look cheap at all. It's very heavy and solid. I highly recommend this folding hitch.

Hitch will not fold up with pin in down position. 6 3/4 dim needs to be inch a longer. Seems well built but I would not buy again

This hitch failed the first time we used it.It broke with my mobility scooter on the aluminum carrier. Had there been a vehicle close behind us there would’ve been a bad accident. Thankfully we were able to get off the road to a safe place where we could remove the broken hitch and carrier. Amazon is in the process of refunding our money.

The adapter couldn't fold due to the basket pin hitting the side supports. I contacted the company and they very quickly refunded the purchase.

Bought this for my wifes scooter carrier. Exactly what I needed, BUT it doesn't allow the rack to "hinge" up like discribed. the bolt hits the outer part of the hitch. We will need to unbolt the rack and take it apart and resituate it back on in the upright position and rebolt everything back together. I am actually going to grind down the edges of the side pieces and hopefully that will make it work correctly. Hence the reason I am not returning it. Hoping for the best. It is made sturdy and is exactly as advertised. (Pic shows how much will need ground off)
