These solar lanterns charge up nicely during the day so they have a nice, bright light in the dark. The part that hangs them is not only unusually long but it’s also made out of some type of stretchy-like plastic material. I think that considering how nice the lanterns look that the hanging part detracts from the overall appearance. Because it’s so long there are very few places I can hang these. However, right now I’m enjoying them sitting on the table on the deck.

Love these lights. They look really pretty hanging on a crepe Myrtle by our pool deck. They are relatively bright and look good during the day as well. I like solar lights because you don’t have to remember to turn them on or off.

The concept of these lights is quite simple. There’s a jar which has a solar cap and tied to the cap is a string light which is hanging inside the jar. The jar has a cracked look. That’s how simple it is.Does it work? It absolutely does. It’s lightweight, relatively small (pictures in the listing belied how big or small it is)The battery lasts almost the whole night. However there are two limitations when you consider what they’re charging for this product— size is quite small as mentioned, and brightness is quite low as well. So certainly the value for money is less than ideal.

These are really nice little lamps they have a strand of LEDs inside the lamp that you can move around to suit your level of ethereal "firefly simulation" type experience hehe. That's what I think of when I look at these was watching the fireflies when I was a kid.For this reason I hung them out under my oak tree. I'm not sure they will charge enough there but am giving it a go. I put one of them under my eaves of my house (see photo) and it seemed to work out well there so maybe I'll move them back.In any case these are lamps you can move around any time so yeah- pretty nice. They are ornamental, primarily, not a big light producer. That is nice for us since we live just outside the city, over a hill, where we enjoy a very dark sky.In the city these would be even more "ornamental" in nature, not producing a lot of light, as I said before. But that's fine these are really nice to look at and I recommend them.

This is a very good quality set of solar lanterns. In the picture I see on the market these lanterns look to have a more yellow glow to them. When I got them the lid did need to come off the globes and then the string of lights needed to come out and just unwound and stuck back into the globes. I hung one in side in a window and one out on my deck. Both gathered enough sun to light up that night and they glowed a nice bright white instead of a yellow tint to it. I like the white glow much better. These globes are palm size and look so nice both hanging in my window from my plant stand and out on my deck. I am very satisfied with this product. The instruction manual did not say any estimated amount of time that these globes would stay lit , at least I did not find any where both in the product description or the manual but I have been timing it just for my own interest and the maximum time they have stayed lit has been 5/ just short of 6 hours and the least amount of time has been approx 3.5 hours. Both days have had majority of rain so I feel the glow time was exceptional. I would absolutely recommend these solar lights and yes I would order again.

Okay, I have been on a solar light kick lately, trying to illuminate my backyard garden this year! When I came across these little lantern lights, I knew I wanted to incorporate them into my setup! They are super cute and solid—the sturdiest solar lights I have. Easy to set up, and easy to hang. I really like the loose fairy light design inside of them lanterns themselves—that adds a very nice effect.I will say, while the lights themselves look as they do in the photos, they are still a bit smaller than I anticipated! That's okay. Just something to keep in mind. They DO shine brightly! I'm still playing around with where I want to use them (right now, they're hanging on my fence). Overall, these are small, yet bright and sturdy solar lights to add to a decorative setup!

These solar lights are really pretty. They are powered by a solar panel located atop the ball’s lid. The balls themselves look and feel well made. The bulbs are constructed from a thick crackle glass. On the inner bottom of the top lid is a toggle switch to turn your bulbs on/off. They arrived pre-charged. The fairy lights are neatly coiled inside. You must uncoil them in order to have them properly spread out inside the glass ball. The fairy lights give off a cozy, warm hued white light which stays lit all night until morning. The balls hang from a rubberized strap which is fixed to the screw off lids. They have held up well in the rain as well.I’m very pleased.

Quite heavy, which I like because it won't easily swing back and forth when it's windy. The leather strap is quite long, so you can hang it virtually anywhere, even larger tree branches - I have mine on a double shepherd hook. I hope the sun won't destroy the strap quickly - remains to be seen, would have preferred it to be metal but remains to be seen.Top can be unscrewed and the fairy lights are curled/wrapped up inside. I unwound them and then tucked then gash inside trees glass globe for a more even light distribution. It's not a warm white, more like a true white light, but soft and not harsh.
