微動雲台とセットで購入しました。大きくて重いけどしっかりしています。極軸は極軸望遠鏡に北極星を入れるだけでも50mmレンズ120sec露出で流れませんでした。満足しています。極軸合わせ後に三脚が動いた際にカメラを取り外さないと極軸再調整ができないのが残念です。

デジタル一眼レフの感度が高感度になって撮影し易くなりました｡ しかし固定撮影では限界があります、スカイメモを使えば更に高精細に撮影出来るでしょう。次回は望遠レンズで挑戦してみます。

所々にチープさが目立ちます。例えば電池の取り外しが固くてやりにくかったり、極望の明視野照明がねじ込んで点灯するタイプですが、ネジの加工が悪かったり、接触も微妙なので点きっぱなしになって肝心な時に電池が切れていそうで怖いです。なんとか暗視野照明+北極星以外の星も使うパターンにできないでしょうか。モードダイヤルも軽すぎて、移動中にオンになっていたことがありました。追尾精度は良くもなく悪くもなくです。
