We got this mattress for Grandma and Grandpa’s house to have something safe and comfortable for our new grandbaby—and we couldn’t be happier. I love that it’s made from organic materials without all the plastics and chemicals you find in so many others. It gives us peace of mind knowing it’s non-toxic and breathable.The two-sided design is such a smart touch! We can flip it depending on who’s visiting—firm side for infants, softer side for toddlers. The quality feels outstanding, and the included waterproof mattress protector is just the icing on the cake. It’s easy to remove and toss in the wash, which is a big help after little accidents.This is definitely a “buy it once, use it for years” kind of item. We’re really happy with it.

While this mattress took FOREVER to arrive, which was disappointing, it ended up being worth the wait. Everything about it screams quality and it is incredibly comfortable. It is ever so slightly bigger than our previous crib mattress, so it was a tight squeeze in the bed frame, but it does fit. I appreciate the very nice protective cover that comes with it, as well. I am very pleased with this mattress and I do feel confident recommending it to others based upon our own experience and my personal opinions. Five stars.

This plastic-free mattress gives me so much peace of mind. The fact that it's certified organic and comes with a waterproof protector is fantastic. I like that it's two-sided, so it grows with my baby.

Very nice, high-quality mattress. It is plush and made of very nice materials. Note that it is just a little bigger than other crib mattresses (at least that we've owned. Comes with an organic mattress cover to keep it clean. Overall, this is much nicer than other mattresses we've had or seen before. We like that the owners acknowledge this is a premium product and therefore offer free repairs if for any reason the product becomes unusable.

We are really pleased with this crib mattress! We planned to get the same mattress for baby 2 as we did for our first but then came across this one. It seems to be really good quality and has a nice soft fabric cover. One side is firm for infants, the other a bit softer for toddlers. The sides are clearly marked with labels and arrows to prevent any confusion. It also comes with a removable cover to use as a mattress protector. However, that one is a bit rougher so I think we will stick with what we have already been using for our toddlers bed. This mattress does seem to be a tad bit longer than our other one but still fits in the crib fine. Its about the same height as our other mattress as well. Great quality and seems very comfortable!

My toddler enjoys sleeping on the new mattress and is able sleep all night. No foul odor and dual sided for firmness adjustability makes for a very comfortable bed. Cover is easy to wash and clean. No springy sound when moving around and jumping on it. Fits into out standard crip b just right. Overall, it is a well made mattress and is appealing all by itself.

I had Newton crib mattresses for our older daughters, which they’re still sleeping on as toddlers. It seems that Newton has been somewhat of a gold standard for safe, healthy crib mattresses, but so far I am liking this Katu mattress as much if not more for our new baby. She sleeps more soundly on it, without interruptions, and so far I can see that it really supports her sleep and therefore growth.This mattress has several layers of GOTS-certified goodness - organic coconut fiber on the infant side, organic wool for padding and fire resistance, and organic latex on the toddler side, all tucked into an organic cotton cover. On the product description each material is listed with its country of origin for transparency.The cover itself is a beautiful soft sage green which I love. It’s easy to unzip and wash, and this crib mattress also came with a waterproof mattress protector.This young company also offers a lifetime guarantee and 100-night trial, so it’s clear that they really stand behind their product.I’m so happy I found this crib mattress and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it as being on par or better than Newton mattresses. I will definitely be on the lookout for more from this company!
