Perhaps this is my fault or perhaps it arrived this way and I did not notice. The product is bent. I actually did not use it when it arrived and I put a 77mm cap on the ring and dropped it in my bag. When I pulled it out for use it would not screw onto my lens. I tried screwing into the ring on my filter holder and it would not screw on there either. I took a good look and saw that it was bent. I get that this is lightweight aluminum but I have not had any other similar products bend in my bag. I will chock this up to my fault for either careless handling or not noticing the bend when it arrived. I cannot prevent shipping problems but I should not expect a bend like this in the bag while placed in a vertical pocket and nothing can sit on top of the ring.Possibly too thin or possibly I expect too much.
