These foot rests look great, are designed well, and come with clear instructions. I just had to remove the two bolts (per side), use two included plastic washers as I aligned the top & bottom halves with the bottom hinge, then insert & tighten the bolts. However, the bottom washer doesn't slide onto its post with the protective clip on the end of the foot rest. Just slide the protective clip up an inch, press the plastic washer onto its post, then slide the protective clip back down.The foot rests can be rotated inward or outward to their natural stopping point. In the "out" position, their angle provides a natural place for my forefoot to rest while my heel is resting on the bottom door sill.If I run into anything unexpected as I use them more, I'll update my review. For now, these are 5 star items based on their quality design, build, and instructions.

Well made, solid foot pegs with a nice powder coated finish. Unfortunately it's still to cold to remove the door here in New England. We'll see how well these will hold up. This was my 1st time using footpegs and initially I thought it was a simple drop-in and go but these are a bit more complex than that. They look great and the build quality is very good as they're heavy and heavily coated so I would think they're not going to rust easily. Installi takes a little time to get everything lined up, but once you've done that, you're good to go. The one thing I didn't count on was that they swing in and out, so this means you can swing it in when it's not being used. Overall, I was very impressed with these foot pegs.

These are nice. Easy to attach. I ordered these because they clamp. I like that. It provides more confidence that these aren’t going anywhere. They look good. Solid material, nicely made, attach easy. What’s not to like. Def recommend!

These foot pegs have been the perfect addition to my Jeep, especially since I’ve been riding with the doors off more often lately. They add both functionality and style, and I’ve been really pleased with how they perform so far.Right out of the box, the quality is noticeable. They have a solid weight to them—not too heavy, but enough to feel sturdy and durable. What really sets them apart from other foot pegs I’ve used is the grip. Instead of the typical smooth or slightly textured surface, these offer excellent traction, which makes them much more comfortable and secure when resting your feet during a drive.I also really like the design. These are really going to be nice, they aren't really optional. When driving doors off, you really do pretty much want to put your foot right there. :-) Going to get them, painted by my stepson to match my color theme of green and purple, but they come powder coated, and I have no reason to expect them to rust.
