A kaleidoscope of color that truly inspires the visual senses, featuring evergreen leaves marbled in seemingly endless patterns and hues or orange, yed, yellow and white, the Summer Sunset Asian Jasmine is a dramatic addition as a groundcover, climber or spiller over walls in the landscape or in container gardens, where its bright colored foliage flows over the containers edge.
Summer Sunset Asiatic Jasmine is an exceptionally versatile plant with many uses in landscape and garden design. Although it makes a delightful groundcover that lights up the sunny or shady areas of the landscape, it can also be used as a climber on trellises, fences and other structures that provide support.
Its appeal as a groundcover has grown tremendously, but donÕt let that fool you. Its potential applications as a single hanging basket item, mixed container component, or even accent plant for seasonal holiday dŽcor are endless!
New leaves are red turning a creamy yellow and provide hues of green, blue-green, orange, yellow and red with beautiful variegation. Grows 6 to 12 inches tall and 18 to 24 inches wide. Deer resistant. Drought tolerant once established. Needs frequent prunning for thickness.
Summer Sunset Asiatic Jasmine is exceptionally easy to grow. It tolerates many soil types, including clay, but prefers and will spread faster in a moist but well-drained, loamy soil. It will tolerate temporary flooding but does not like constantly soggy or wet soil. Grows in sunny or shady areas. Established plants are quite drought tolerant.

Plants were planted same day and watered 2 times daily. 3 plants died within a week. 2 other are weak. 5 remaining healthy.

We ordered these and they are a bit smaller than expected but health plants. We were shorted 5 plants-ordered 120 received 115 waiting on sellers response. Good root system just will take a min for them to mature.

Arrived fresh, well rooted and actually larger than I expected. Planted them the next day February 18, and not quite 6 weeks later they have more than doubled in size. I bought some of this locally many years ago and have it planted in a bordered area. It grows slowly, unlike the green version of jasmine which can be an absolute nightmare to keep contained as it grows up inside bushes, up walls, etc. This variant grows much slower, so it takes longer to fill in but once it does it is so much easier to keep trimmed and tidy. Plus the colors are spectacular! I did buy this off of Amazon as I can no longer find it locally and so far it seems to be the same as what I planted years ago, and that's great, exactly what I wanted.

Plants were well packaged and arrived in good condition. However, they are extremely small. Would not have purchased at this cost for the size of the plants - one tiny stem in a 1 to 2" little container.

I just received my little shipment of 3 of these Jasmine Summer Sunset, Trachelospermum Asiaticum - Groundcover Vines. I was pleasantly surprised at how they appeared so much more vibrant and beautiful than even in photos. They are Georgeous!!!!!!!!!! Healthy!!!!!!!!! Arrived two days Early!!!!!!!! I fantasize about the day that these will have spread over large areas and become show piece attractions. Extrememly Pleased~~~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
