Worked great connected shelves. These were the only ridged ones I could find. Must be a shortage of then. Paid more than I wanted to but it is what I wanted.

This was the right clip for some otherwise free shelves I had been given. The first time I ordered these, 4 clips came I the package. Knowing that they came apart easily, I took it to mean the 8 pieces I the description. Still needed more, so I ordered again and received 8 clips this time. It was still less expensive than the shelving unit would have been originally, but a little consistency would have been nice.

The clips worked fine however the price to support two shelves per packages is very expensive. Purchased the shelving unit used and to insure the safety of the unit I elected to use proper clips.

the product works okay but the description says there are 8 pcs- I only received 4. I have a bunch of older ones and the new ones are not the same quality. They are also at least 4 or more times as expensive as similar clips- but they are different and these are the only ones that work on Seville Classics' shelves unless they come from Seville Classics- they have been out of them for several weeks and will be several weeks before they get them in.The product description:ISS Wire Shelving Shelf Lock Clips for 1” Post, Shelving Sleeves, Plastic, Black, 8 Pcs / Pack

Great product superior to most of the other 2 piece sleeves for 1" posts. This product has two ridges to engage the posts instead of just one which should give a stronger grip to support the shelves. Contrary to the statement in the description, "(Does not work on shelving posts that's taking the 2 piece clips.)", that is exactly the type of shelving that these clips work with. I would not mix clip types on the same shelf. The pack contains enough clips for 2 shelves (eight pieces). Too early to tell, but I suspect the vertical ridges will keep the shelf from coming loose during use.
