Meet SUSTEE
SUSTEE is a modern, Japanese soil moisture sensor. The blue color indicates that there is enough water in the soil, and the while color indicate that plant is in need of watering. SUSTEE features a minimal aesthetic that doesn't take away from the beauty of your plants.
SUSTEE
Color
Has your SUSTEE turned white? That means it is time to water! After watering, the white insert will change to a blue color. This indicates that there is enough water in the soil.
Soil
SUSTEE can be used with almost all plants that grow in soils with a certain level of moisture retention. This includes akadama soil, black earth, bark, coco peat, peat moss and vermiculite.
Insertion Depth
When inserting SUSTEE, please ensure that the Ω mark found on the stick is entirely covered. Please also make sure that the transpiration opening is visible if the stick is needing to go deeper.
Time
The time it takes to change color will depend on the amount of water given and the water retention level. When using SUSTEE for the first time, please water generously. The small stick takes approximately 3 minutes, the medium 15 minutes, and the large 25 minutes.

Just put them in the soil and they will tell you when to water your plants. I use a watering system and monitor with a camera when I am away. Works great.

So easy to use and really helpful. I was definitely overwatering my plants before. Particularly good for larger plants where you can’t lift them to take to the sink or tub. I use these on my 12” potted plants. Filter has lasted a long time so far and haven’t had to replace yet.

Was really a waste of money. It turned blue right away and even in the super dry soil still bright blue :(So now I have 2 blue sticks to decorate my dry plants.

When first inserted it did not change color. I had to run it under the tap to get it started.When stick turned white and it was time to water. I initially put a lot of water. Waited 20-30 minutes for color to change. Nothing!I basically had to put another equal amount of water for indicator to turn blue, and then sop up the overflowing water of which there was a lot!!!

This little stick has saved my second fiddle leaf from certain soggy death! It lets me know when I need to water, which is to my surprise, far less than I had been doing with my first fiddle leaf. Highly recommend this item for plants with picky watering needs. No more guessing!

They simply don't work. Once blue, they stay blue, even out of the plant!!
