I tried these out between an upper level room and a lower level room and they worked pretty well. I find the talk button is somewhat tricky to push down all the way and you need to be relatively close to the mic to capture good audio. Like some other users have noted some transmissions can be garbled but that’s pretty common.I have yet to try setting a custom channel setup or the voice activated a transmit function. For my use case a simple intercom was all that was needed but for others there are some nice features such as the call button that can serve a lot of purposes such as to ring a kid to speak to them instead of yelling across the house multiple times.For a family use case I’d leave one in the kitchen and one in each of my kids rooms or any room where I know it would be easier to call them on the intercom than yell across the house.
