About this item

  • Patented DirectDigital wideband sensor control, 100% digital wideband air/fuel ratio technology!
  • 52mm (2 1/6”) diameter gauge body
  • Digital display in AFR or Lambda
  • Bosch LSU4.9 Wideband O2 Sensor is compatible with all fuel types (Leaded, Unleaded, Diesel, Methanol, E85, etc)
  • Ability to calibrate O2 sensor for increased accuracy

The evolution of the world’s most popular stand alone digital O2 sensor controller, the Innovate Motorsports MTX-L builds upon the legacy of the XD-16 by adding simplicity and leading edge technology. The MTX-L utilizes 100% digital wideband air/fuel ratio technology. The MTX-L’s patented award-winning DirectDigital signal processing technology provides data on exactly how rich or lean an engine is running at any load. The MTX-L’s self-calibrating circuitry also compensates for changes in temperature, altitude, and sensor condition. The MTX-L includes a digital input/output, 2 full-programmable analog outputs, and is ideal for applications such as dynamometers, data acquisition systems, standalone ECUs, and gauges.

Un peu encombrant pour mon utilisation sur moto

Boosted miata, threw this on (like broke and boosted) died after a year with the dreaded e8 code. Did all the installation correctly and always let my sensor heat up but it still died. Don't waste your money on this, buy the AEM wideband, it's much better and it's also cheaper.

Installed this gauge in my utv, before I even got my utv loaded onto the trailer for the first time since installed, o2 sensor was burnt out, in less than 5 min of use. New replacement o2 sensor cost is $140.

doesn't work gives false readings, ran it against to different dyno machines and both dyno's gave the same readings and both showed this to be way off. E mailed tech support 3 times no responds, call the tech support number no answer so far. I didn't get to test it until after the 30 day return window was up, (off working a job out of town) so I am out of luck. Just bought a 170.00 paper weight. Serious waste of time and money and a good way to burn a engine up when this thing is telling you are running rich when you are actually running very lean....

Works great but i have gone thru 2 sensors now in 8 months. Not sure if its a gauge/controller issue or just faulty sensors.

I have restored a 1975 Norton Commando with custom cam and custom head work. Stock carburetors do not work for this bike. Trying to dial in after-market single Mikuni carb and later twin Keihin carbs with the old school method of throttle chops and reading spark plugs just doesn't get it! If you don't have a dyno in your garage you're guessing. Pretty straight forward to install. I had an old header pipe that I welded the bung to about 12" from the exhaust port. I only ever monitored one of two cylinders because the other cylinder was mechanically identical to the first. Worked perfect for me. I was amazed at how accurate this thing appears to be. I was too rich at idle and midrange. The results speak for themselves. My gas mileage is were it should be and the bike runs better than it ever has. Do yourself a favor. Stop guessing and throw some science at your intake system. Best thing I ever did for my old Norton.

I bought this wideband gauge to help me in tuning my carbed Grizzly for max power and not run it too lean either. I had installed a mudbuster cam to begin with. After awhile I then installed a EHS airbox lid, a new FMC muffler, wrapped the head pipe due to the heat and a new spark box. The changes did something I had not expected and that was to richen the air fuel ratio. The gauge proved this to me. I started changing the main fuel jet and had to repeat this about five times until I got it right. I did check my setup when the temperature outside got colder to be safe as I set this up in the summer at 90 F. I would have been guessig in the dark and would have done some damage if not using the gauge. The gauge has a well written manual, is easy to calibrate and is easy to read with the digital display. I have since used this to fine tune two other quads with great results. I would buy another one if this one gets lost.

I bought this as a replacement for my AEM UEGO Wide Band. Tuning with the AEM for cruse and light throttle application was ok but WOT was clearly impossible. The MTX-L helped me a lot when it came to getting my car run straight. The calibration procedure was way more easy than I thought and I would trust an instrument that you have to manually calibrate any day over one that 'Auto Calibrates' or doesn't at all.

Unit works great but the supplied 02 bung that you weld in was way to long causing it not to read. The guys at innovate are pricks just in case you need to get ahold of them. There customer service sucks but the product is good.

Exceeded expectations. I ordered the Powersports version with the shorter cable which fit my application well. I was concerned about the size of hole needed in the firewall but the connector that needed to go through was about 3/4 inch (a much larger connector stayed on the engine side of the firewall). I ended up using the hole for the speedo cable (73 Camaro) so didn't need to butcher the firewall. The reading for the ratio changes rapidly, but with a little practice, I am able to get a good average reading for cruise (light acceleration needed), idle and full throttle. Highly recommended for setting up a carb. I already had a O2 sensor bung for another meter (which I had problems with) and the wiring was straightforward. I have a fairly mild cam so I set the idle and cruise on the leaner side (about 14:1) and compensate on the secondary side to get a 13:1 wide open throttle reading for cleaner emissions and better mileage around town and richer at full throttle to protect the pistons under load.
