Works great and plugs right in. I you are a typical guy like me that tosses directions to the side at least make sure to read the note stamped right on the back. There is a little blue wire on the back of this CDI that is not on the factory CDI. I simply installed it without reading the note right on the CDI itself and my 2003 Polaris Ranger 4X4 500 (Series 10) would not turn off with the key!!! Well, that note stamped right on the back says "If machine will not turn off remove blue wire". Duh, luckily I read that just before I started ripping apart the key switch and chasing wiring.
