The product is fine but not satisfied at all because about Amazon and IK Multimedia for their lying description about the product.The product did not include the lightning cable as mentioned and when I contacted Customer Service of IK Multimedia, they just told me "sorry, but you can buy one if you want".I would not recommend such company.

En definitiva, con todos los dispositivos Apple que he probado. Reconocimiento directo, alimentación desde el dispositivo al que se conecta, una vez que se dispone del cable apropiado para cada uno. Las tres octavas físicas se expanden con un solo toque, hacia arriba o hacia abajo. No he podido explorar todavía todas sus posibilidades como teclado controlador.

For someone who plays a lot and wants to bring something to do "sketches" on, this is perfect. It weighs nothing and at 20" fits anywhere. I could even see jumping into an open mic with an iPad or iPhone and having a blast..

Reason for my title is because it said "made for Ipad" so I was very confident that I will be able to put it in use right away! Frustrated to realize that it doesnt come with the lightning connector for my 4th Gen Ipad. They should state in there that it comes only with the regular ipad/iphone connector. So if u needed the lightning connector for latest version of ipad/iphone, u have to purchase the connector separately! Because whats the point waiting for it with much anticipation n excitement only to realize u cant use it?! They sell the connector though for another $30 but Im not gonna spend and wait more days after my frustration! If I wouldnt be able to use the regular Ipad connector, I should be able to exchange it with a lightning connector. Product is returned. Thanks to Amazon for their no-hassle returns. When order turns out bad, Amazon's no-hassle return is a big consolation.

Produit qui répond parfaitement à mes attentes à savoir avoir un clavier pour les vacances sans emmener toute l'artillerie!Produit léger, solide, tient dans un "long" sac à dos car 50cm de longueur/fournit avec cable usb, cable pour ipad et notice d'installation et d'activation du produit.Clavier mini touches répondant bien à la vélocité, fonctions programmables, polyphonie... A l'utilisation le toucher est agréable ainsi que les fonctions (changement d'octaves...)Je l'utilise surtout avec l'ipad3 : branchement et reconnaissance directe avec les logiciels fournit (sample tank...): merci Apple!!J'ai acheté une pédale de sustain (MAudio sp1) qui fonctionne à merveille.seul bémol : le logiciel sample tank sur PC est un peu capricieux à faire fonctionner...

Actually it works great with other apps too. Easy to use and program. Amazing to find how easy it was to acclimatize to the smaller keys. My entire studio now only consists of an iPad 2, a Stratocaster, the iRig KEYS, and a guitar cable that plugs into the iPad charging port. The keyboard provides my input for all of my instruments except drums (on iPad) and guitars. Just like the movie "Oz" .....Great and Powerful.

I bought this knowing that it was a mini keyboard. I'm OK with the size of the keys, but it's the stiff feel of the keys that really disappointed. It really takes a good amount of pressure to press them, especially the black keys.But it does what it claims, it get's right into your iOS device interfaces with Garageband, Sampletank, iGrand, etc. with no problem. Super portable and fun to play on the go.One major drawback however, the keyboard is powered by the iOS device, so the 30pin connector cord blocksanyway of charging your phone. So it's only good for the life of your battery charge.I would hate to be onstage with no way of charging!!I'm going probably sell this and move up to the iRig Midi, and thus be able to get a larger better keyboard and an input for charging my iTouch!But again, for casual use, hard to beat the portability!Geo

I discovered that this is the perfect keyboard for my little ones to learn the piano as it is easily connected directly into the iPad. The keys are very narrow - uncomfortably for me as I am a grown-up used to play the original sized keys - But for little fingers - it's perfect!

This midi controller is great! I got it yesterday, so I'm still trying to figure it out all its features. At first I thought that looked like a toy but it's not! It feels very well. I have a 61 Casio keyboard, and so far it hasn't been hard to get use to the small keys. So far I use the irig keys with my iphone 4S, with Sample Tank, GarageBand and iGrand Piano, and works perfect with all those apps. With my Win 7 PC, the Sample Tank 2L is not working, I don't know what'ts wrong, but it's not making any sound with the software. I've been using it with a free software I downloaded called Virtual Midi Piano Keyboard, it's very simple but it works fine. I wrote to the people from IK about my problem with Sample Tank 2L, and I'm waiting for their answer.I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7'', and I tried the irig keys using the USB PC/Mac cable, and it works, the Tab recognizes the midi controller, I have an app called Midi Melody, it's like the Synthesia, it works but sometimes stops working, but I think it's the app. I'm gonna buy FL Mobile for android and see if it works.The irig keys works well, it's easy to use with the sample tank app, you can have an instrument on each channel, and change it with the irig, for this if you have on the sample tank app a piano on channel 1, an electric guitar on channel 2, an acoustic guitar on channel 3 and a flute on channel 4, and you select the electric guitar, the irig keys won't make any sound because its on channel 1, so you have to press down the two edit buttons at the same time, then press the MIDI CH button, then you press the key number 2 and the Enter button. If you want to come back to to the piano, you select it on your app, and do the same think on the irig, just that you press number 1 key instead on number 2. For changing the octaves it's pretty easy, not much science in that. But with Transposing the Key it's another story, you have to press down the two edit button at the same time, then press the TRANSP button, and then the white Key, for example if you're playing in the Key of A but you want to use the G chord, there are two semitones, so you have to count the semitones from the 0, so you'll have to press the D, because from C to C# there is 1 semitone, and from C# to D there it another semitone. So you have two semitones. so you're playing a G chord but it sounds like a A chord. Other than that, it's really easy to use.The only reason why I give it 4 stars and not 5 it's because the Manual doesn't explain the Transpose part well, and because like it's almot 20'', it's hard to get into my backpack, so I have to grab my camera's tripod case, and it fits perfect.Anyway, this is a great keyboard if you're looking for something with full 3 octaves and portable.

I had high hopes for this cool-looking compact piece o' gear, but I found that it was, at best, inconsistent and unpredictable. More than half the time I could not get apps like sample tank, beatmaker 2, nano studio -- you know, some of those really excellent V.I./midi sequencing and recording apps -- to respond to the iRig KEYS. Sometimes the iOS LED on the keyboard would light up, which would get my hopes up --- sometimes it even worked, and i could actually control the app and make music with it. But more often the LED didn't mean a thing. The keys on the KEYS remained sadly mute. It did better through a USB to my MAC but I have a full size USB midi keyboard already and really want something small, handy and iPadophilic. So, grateful for Amazon's enlightened return policy, I sent it back and ordered an M-Audio Oxygen 3 (3rd generation) 25 and an apple camera connection kit that allows one to plug (some) USB devices into iPads. According to a major IOS music site it should work with this board. If anybody has had a similar or altogether different experience with the iRig, please tell all. I realize mine could have been a rare dud, but my instincts told me to try something different.

Arrivata la tastiera ho potuto constatare che e' esattamente come da descrizione. Collegata al pc e al mio ipad e utilizzando software come sample tank e garage band ha dato il meglio di se. I tasti sono piccoli ma permettono di suonare piuttosto agevolmente e sono pesati. Basta collegare il cavetto e...via!!!!! Piccola, leggera e comodissima,utile per chi vuole viaggiare senza valigioni. Un piccolo incanto.Da acquistare, a mio modesto avviso.
