Outwardly, this is an attractive clock and the chime is soft with volume and on and off controls but inward construction is not worthy of the price of the clock.

Purchased for my mother this past christmas. She had a different one for over 50 years and it broke, she likes this one even more. I have a Howard Miller Clock and they are very well constructed.

For $128 I expected a nice clock. This item is lightweight and cheaply made. The wood is laminate, the brass trim looks cheap. The door on the back is flimsy. I would not pay $20 for this clock. Definitely not a quality made item, and certainly not worth the asking price. Very disappointing.
