Installations Steps:
First step- Using a littl tweezer or another thing to loose the origianl A-pillar.
Second step and third step- Please take towm the original A-pillar accessory.
Forth step- Please instal the accessory of Hoolcar Cell Phone Holder supplied.
Fifth step- Putting the Cell Phone to the Hole and then the installation is finished.

It was easy to install and the screw tighten feels secure. I installed it on the upper grab bar, driver side. This will be used to hold a note 10+ which will be used for my onX. This saved me from having to buy a large tablet and mount. Additionally, I don't have to further invade my copilot's (wife's) space.My Bullet Point is used for my cameras.

Easy install and feels like a very good quality product! Would definitely recommend for various uses - I used it to hold my Auxbeam Switch Panel and it is simply a fit and forget product. The provided grab handle panel is slightly different to the original but it’s as near as makes no difference!

The phone mapped part of this is pretty meh. However, it's a great grab handle mount that uses a standard tripod thread for whatever you want to attach.

Liked the placement of the phone. Does not block any visibility. Well thought out mounting system.AND, be prepared to tighten everything in order to keep phone in place. Took a few isguided hand tightening to prove I needed pliers to get a really tight fit.Takes a little determination to get everything installed TIGHT.

altough it is a phone mount, i use this as my light module pod on my jeep. I should say that as much as i tight the mount it comes loose at some point. I had to put some super glue in the ball to stay put.

While attractively priced relative to its construction and purpose, this particular cell phone holder suffers from a few design flaws that disqualify it for serious consideration.The cradle includes four small 90° arms that are intended to hold the phone securely when the thumb screw adjustment feature is used. Small rubber inserts for the arms are provided to prevent damage to the phone itself, or a phone case. The arms are observably short, though, meaning retention of the phone may be compromised by any phone case that is thicker than the thin case that may accompany a smart phone when purchased. Further, those phones or cases with finger rings will likely cause the phone to sit too proudly in the cradle for the retention arms to work properly, or even at all.The interface between the provided mounting base (on the vehicle's grab handle) and the phone cradle is an assembly that appears to be two RAM balls, but is in fact an adjustable arm that depends on two mildly serrated bolt heads to hold the cradle in the user's desired position when a wing nut is tightened. However, no matter how snugly the user tightens the arm, the plastic "balls" cannot obtain a purchase on the serrated bolt heads sufficient to prevent movement of the phone. This is especially evident when driving on a bumpy road, when the phone (in its cradle) may be observed to slowly droop down from its original position.The foregoing design flaws may of course compromise the driver's view of his phone, and thus any perceived usefulness of the phone cradle assembly.Not recommended.

This has to be the best cell phone holder ever, and that it is designed with my Jeep Gladiator in mind was a high point. Easy to install. And actually out of the way, does not impede on windshield visibility..

I want to like this phone mount but there are just too many things that are not executed well. First off, there were no instructions. Granted this is pretty much self explanatory. As for the product, the ball joints screw on with a very small thread on both the car mount side and the phone holder side. If you have to adjust anything then the whole thing has to be retightend. The ball clamp works well enough but moving the phone mount with the clamp loose usually just means the screw on ball joints come loose and you're battling with that. The last part that I've grown to hate is the phone holder itself. It holds multiple size phones well but to remove the phone you have to unscrew another tightening screw a lot to remove or a little to slide the phone upward which if you mount to the top of the handle on the jeep isn't easy. You could turn the phone sideways to side out but then you loosen the ball joint screws and you're back to the first annoyance.

I search for a good mount for my JL. I believe this is the best option. Most JL phone mounts put your phone over the dash. I don't want anything blocking my view. The weak point on this mount is the threaded bolt attaching to the phone holder. I used a dab of JB weld on the bolt tread and now it is solid. Considering whats out there price,style and placement. For me this was the one.

Don’t purchase this item, you will save yourself frustration and future money. First like everyone else there are no directions, but it’s pretty simple to install.I put my phone on the top connection point the night I got it, however I didn’t think about that location blocking my visors, so when I got home today I figured I’d change the location to the lower connection point.Easy enough right? No, the long bolt that came in the package stating it fits stripped the female end and now the factory bolt will not tighten. So to sum it up my “oh sh!t” bar on the driver side is loose.As long as you plan on keeping it installed throughout the life of your Jeep it will probably last, but if you decide to swap it out with another accessory in the future just scrap that idea.I got it, I could go have someone rethread the hole and the problem is solved but why is that even a step if I decide to relocate the mount?Thanks for ruining my evening!P.S. don’t buy this thing.
