This is a great basic hard cue case for beginners or amateurs. I wouldn't call it leather though. It has a small pouch for chalk and a small tip tool and also has a carrying strap. The shaft and butt are separated so they don't rub against each other. It only holds one cue. I don't know any serious pool players that have enough money to buy a nice cue that don't also have a spare cue or break cue and a much nicer, bigger heavy duty case. This is NOT meant for them.

No animal was harmed in the making of this case (imitation or vegan leather). A surprisingly good case to transport an inexpensive cue stick. The accessory case is very small, which is unfortunate for me in that I have snooker glasses and I wanted something that I could store them in. The shoulder strap is very secure on the opening end (two machine sewn lengths of stitches) but only held on via friction from an end cap made of cloth belting (there is a picture in ad showing this detail). I could see the case being easily lost if sling back pack style on a long urban hike. No issue if strap was used as a handle while being carried.

I ordered this cue case because mine was showing it's age. This one is advertised as made of leather and for professional use. So I figured it would be good for me and home use .Well for one, it's not leather it's vinyl. False advertising. Plus only the top and bottom are padded. I wouldn't call this good for professional use. I'll gladly say it is for home or beginners.It is well made with what material they used. And the price is good. So I really can't complain. I have no problem throwing this over my shoulder and taking this to the local pool hall.Better than walking in with just your cue in your hand.

I’m a retiree who hasn’t played pool regularly for a long time. Before I invest in an expensive cue and accessories, I want to start out with the basics and nothing more. I also play the guitar and did the same thing with that. I started with an entry level instrument, and then after I had played for a couple of years I bought a Martin, and then later a Gibson. I don’t need anything fancy because my cue is entry level. I just wanted a lightweight case that could carry one 2 piece pool stick, some chalk, and a glove. This fits the bill. When I get better, then I’ll think about upgrading everything. But for now, I see nothing to complain about with this case. The price is right, everything fits, and it looks nice.

Very nicely constructed leather cue case. The stitching is solid and durable and the zippers pull smoothly. It's what I would call a minimalist version, really meant to hold just one stick. The little pocket is little, maybe room for chalk and a glove. But in this way it is nice since it is not bulky.

I don't like PU leather (PolyUrethane...plastic) but this is functional and it looks okay. I use a 2 piece cue with a maple shaft and an extra carbon shaft. It's a little bit of a struggle but this case can carry all three cue pieces.For this price it's a great buy to carry and protect your 2 piece cue but it won't be getting any jealous stares.The little attached pocket is a good size for carrying a chalk or two, a few extra tips and a small tip shaping tool.

I've had several different pool cue cases over the years, and well this one is just moderate (if that). It would be fine for a house cue or perhaps a teenager how like to use their own 2-piece, but I would not trust a decent cue in this. The top edges are just holes and no tapper to the holes. The top foam is cheap and can loosen after a few uses. You can see in the photo, the padding does not go all the way.Ok for storage or an amiture player, but not for a quality cue.
