My wife’s Navigator developed an occasional miss but would not throw a code. After some research it appeared to be the throttle body. Installation was easy and the miss is gone!

It does everything it should. Quality is top notch. It doesn't come with instructions for a Ford, but it is easily Googled.

My FoMoCo, aka, Ford Motor Company, TB started giving me problems at 90,000 miles. This is on a 2009 Ford Expedition. When parts fail on Fords everyone is quick to say only buy ‘Ford Parts’. In this case, Hitachi is a known brand that’s been around for awhile, so I felt comfortable buying this part instead of possibly another failed Ford part. When I received the new throttle body the quality showed. It was actually better quality than my original Ford part. It was easy to install once the old one was removed and my Expe no longer has the surge problem when coming to a stop. Having the TB off, I decided to go ahead and add some dilectric grease to electrical connections, add a new rubber gasket (The throttle body does not come with one) check my air filter and clean the MAF. After all is said and done, the truck runs smooth as silk. Pricing is also much cheaper with the Hitachi and it does come with a warranty. Good deal.
