Considering how awesome the PSP still is in 2025, I have needed to get a few replacement batteries over the time since it was new, and that's been what, going on 20 years now? Man I'm old. And so is the PSP now.That doesn't make it any less of an amazing device that deserves to be kept in great working condition to keep playing the huge amazing backlog of awesome games it has that are still amazing to play on the original hardware to this day.The only battery I have had to keep around in at least a bare functional condition is my original Sony battery that's a "magic" one paired with a Magic memory card, used for the legacy CFW methods, and I have needed a new replacement for a little while so this combo came up and I gave it a shot.Not only is this a two pack of fat batteries, but it even comes with another charger which I have actually been surviving on one all this time, and None of these third party replacement batteries are able to charge on USB which is a bummer. This combo even comes with a replacement cover in case you needed one.So far they charged up perfectly right out of the box, and hold a great long charge that seems as good if not better than some others I have gotten in the past. Time will have to tell how long they last with age and more gaming time, but so far I cannot say anything negative about their performance in use, and the charger they come with works perfectly fine just like my OEM one, though it's more of a wall wart style rather than a cable/pod/cable style which can be an inconvenience if you have plug space issues.The only negative seems that the batteries fit a tiny bit tight in the PSP, not in the slot itself but when trying to reinstall the cover. It's minor an with a little fiddling I was able to get it closed up perfectly fine, but it seems to be a common theme with some of these batteries for both the 1000 and the 2000/3000 series where the casings are made just a little bigger than OEM and sometimes makes them fit a little more snug than OEM.Overall if you have a wonderful PSP 1000 FAT model and need some new batteries for it without re-celling your OEM Sony ones, then this combo is a perfectly good pack to get to give your PSP new life. Now to get the IPS screen replacement to improve this PSP 1000 even more.

I got this to replace my old aging battery for my PSP 1000 now I can enjoy my PSP again. Not sure how good this battery is, but I'm sure it will work just as good as OEM. I will update this after using this for a bit.

I have an old PSP 1000 that I haven't used for awhile due to the factory battery not holding a charge. This 3rd party battery and charger combo works great and also not too expensive.

I got this to resurrect (and probably sell) my old PlayStation Portable (PS-1000). Since my grandkids grew up, it has sat in a drawer for years and that’s not good for the lithium ion battery in it. When I got it out, the battery was dead and would not take a charge. This package includes a new battery cover, two batteries, and a new charger.The new battery cover was not necessary for me. The existing cover came off without any issues, I inserted one of the new batteries, and snapped the cover back on. No issues there. I guess there must be some that have trouble with these covers and break them so it’s good that it’s included. The extra charger was also not necessary, my old charger is still good and works as it should. But with that said, the old charger is a brick that uses a power cord and a cord that plugs into the PSP. The new charger is much more compact and, for those who might travel with their PSP, it takes up a lot less space.Since I can barely play most of the PSP games (I’m just not a gaming person), I sampled a few of my discs for about thirty minutes. The battery I installed will do the trick and I happy to have a second to go along with the PSP.

I have a PSP Slim that needed some batteries and since the description indicated that these batteries were compatible with the PSP Slim, I decided to give it a shot. The batteries don't exactly fit. What I mean by that is that the batteries work, but I couldn't put the rest of the backing of the PSP back on because the batteries are too thick. I assume these batteries fit for other models, but aren't really great for this one. The batteries do work in the PSP Slim and can be charged - you just have to forego the backing to use them.

My PSP's battery had expanded around 2 years ago, Ive been playing it with just the charger, These will give me back the mobility of my PSP so I can play it on the couch or anywhere take it with me, they are working perfectly so far, and I enjoy and apricate that this kit came with an extra back plate incase yours was gone & it came with an extra charging cable, to me that's really going the extra mile to make sure you have everything you need to repair the device.

Came fully charged and fit in my Psp just fine. They work great. I probably won't use the included battery cover as my PSP is a different color but it is a nice bonus to have! The charger works great as well.

This is a good little kit to breath life back into a PSP that's been sitting in your closet or that you picked up cheap at a garage sale. The batteries are Hisewen, which is a decent brand as far as 3rd party PSP batteries go. So you get 2 batteries, you also get 2 battery cover replacements which almost look like the real thing, and one power plug/charger. Everything is good quality and works good. You're going to get around 3 hours of game time with these batteries. My only complaint about the listing (as it exists as I'm writing this) is trying to sell you on the idea that the power adapter is some sort of high speed charger. Its nothing special, just a replacement for a lost or damage power adapter. It outputs 5V, 1.5Amp.
