Unfortunately this was a waste of money for me. Brought it with me on a trip and could not get it to do what it’s meant to do.

The red light didn't really work that well for me in detecting cameras. Even after watching the howto videos. The WiFi detector works well though. Ultimately returned it.

I bought this device because I travel a lot and I want to make sure that there are no hidden cameras or secret wifi in the places I stay. I was impressed by how easy it is to use and how effective it is in detecting various types of spy devices. It has a VHF/UHF receiver and an infrared scanner that can locate the signal source (after some wandering around like a drunk bee) of any hidden (or pinhole) camera, bug, or wifi source. It has a sound and vibration mode that can alert me when it detects something suspicious. It also has a red-light lens that helps find small cameras hidden behind mirrors or dark screens. It is very sensitive and adjustable, so it can be used in different environments and situations. It is small and portable, so I can carry it with me anywhere. It comes with a USB-C cable that I can use to charge it easily. It also has a manual that explains how to use it and what to look for. I have tested it in my home, where I know where the hidden cameras and wifi signals are, and in some hotels, and it works very well. I feel more secure and confident knowing that I have this device with me. I highly recommend this product to anyone who values their privacy and security. It is a great investment for a reasonable price.

I got this WZZHID hidden camera detector for travel and places where I demand my privacy. I’m able to test the camera locating feature and the magnetic field detector, the electrical signal detector works but my home is full of smart devices so it’s hard to asses how great that works beyond “yep, it knows my smart device is sending a signal”The camera detector is simple, it is Red LEDs and a red lens to look through (room needs to be dark). And basically is makes camera lenses glow red. (Making the LEDs flash is a nice feature)The magnetic field detector works, but I don’t really know why I’d need that.Overall this is a device I will take when I go to AirBNB’s and hotels to check for cameras. It’s small enough and works well for that purpose.

This was a very helpful tool in finding peace of mind! I was able to locate, and remove, the GPS tracker the creepy, weirdo man I was dating installed on my car. I knew by putting two and two together it was there, but could not visually or "by feeling around" find it. Since I was short on trust,The RF signal detector works well. and the quality of the unit. Very glad that I didn't have to go online for the manual. The manual was very good to comprehend and the quality is outstanding. This so good !
