This is a great bunny hideout for the price. It looks beautiful and my bunny loves being both inside and on top. The floor does have a small gap in the back however that doesn’t bother me.I’m only deducting a star because the instructions could have been a little bit more clear regarding the two side pieces but construction was still pretty simple.

I am actually using it for feeding my squirrels in my yard. I’m changing the way they enter. I’m putting an extra small hole in it for them to escape if they have to.

My family helps feed the friendly neighborhood feline; Moxie. He prefers the outdoors. The past few years he has been sleeping in his “bedroom” under my house. I just felt bad for the poor guy because he always stands outside of our patio doors. So I went on the hunt for a “house”. I found this. We put it together right outside of the patio doors. He walked by it and smelled it for about a week. Then it happened. He went inside. He has been sleeping in there ever since. I also put a blanket inside so he would be extra warm.

There are a lot of design flaws here (IMO). The roof should at least have a latch for safety, there's no secondary escape if a predator comes after the animal using it and the latch on the door is very, very flimsy if you need to close an animal in overnight. Theres no ventilation other than what might be coming in from the gaps in the floor and the gaps at the roof.. I use these as nesting boxes for my chickens inside their covered pen and strictly for egg laying-they are never in these overnight. I wouldnt use this if I felt anything that was going to use it needed any kind of protection at some point. I feel like the price is higher than it should be given what it lacks. If youre handy and find one on sale and want to modify it, might be great for you! If you find one for less that $45 check the shipping charge, I've seen these for $40 with a $30 shipping charge tacked on.

This is the second one I bought. Actually, I put them in the chicken coop. We have several other coop nesting cubicals, and we always find the eggs in these houses. They are strong and a little off the ground with a little ramp, which they love, and the babies can get into them.

Very easy to assemble, the floor didn’t just pop in like described, but I just pull out a screw, laid the floor in, put the screw back in. It does have a weird little smell to it, but I think it’s just a fresh paint smell.. little Febreze and outside fresh air it’ll be gone in time
