Herm. Sprenger Black Stainless Steel Dog Collar with ClicLock Buckle and BioThane insert
SIZE: To select correct collar size, you must refer to the listed Neck Sizes and not the overall length of the collar. If needed, adjust collar length by removing or adding pronged links to the desired length. Additional pronged middle links are sold separately.
Herm. Sprenger training dog collar with ClicLock buckle in a middle is a newly designed alternative to traditional prong training collars. Quickly unfasten the collar even with one hand by unlocking the buckle.
The prong collar is made of durable, rust resistant black stainless steel. This collar might not be ideal for dogs with white fur. The training collar offers strength and durability. With proper fit, the collar is safe for dogs and promotes positive training experience.

Assembly Chain
The Herm. Sprenger training dog collar features a martingale style assembly chain. The chain tightens the collar if the dog pulls on the leash while walking.
ClicLock Buckle
Comfort and security are offered by patented “ClicLock” buckle made of black stainless steel. The buckle is used to fasten the collar around the dog’s neck without pulling it over the head. Plastic jacket protects the clasp against unintended opening and soiling. The jacket is designed to slide out completely from an open buckle. If the jacket was lost, the function of the buckle mechanism will not be affected. The buckle functions as intended as long as you hear a loud click at the time of the closing.
Black Stainless Steel
The prong collar is made of high-quality, durable black stainless steel providing long-lasting strength and rust resistance. Connect the leash to the collar by attaching it to the solid O-ring located on the collar's assembly chain. This collar is best for dogs with dark fur. White and light fur might stain.
BioThane Inserts Available in a Variety of Colors
Durable BioThane poly webbed material of the insert is made by coating polyester webbing with a polymer. The insert securely connects the buckle to the prongs of the collar.

Effective Training and Behavior Correction Tool
The training collar should fit snugly on the dog’s neck just under the jaw line, although, the collar should not fit too tight. The protective black plastic jacket on the buckle is designed to slide on and off the unfastened buckle. It is strongly recommended to use a backup collar while training your dog with the prong collar.
A properly fit training collar is safe to use and is a very effective training and behavior correction tool. Consider consulting with a professional trainer before use.

Great improvements added to the Herm Sprenger quality we have all grown to love, such as the double protected quick connect now included in the collar. Like all things Herm Spenger, it is well thought out and executed. These collars continue the long line of Herm Spenger quality and are sure not to disappoint.

I have this collar in almost every size and color combination. I love herm sprenger products. They are durable, extremely high quality and perfectly functional. I dont always use prong collars, but when you need a prong collar you should spend the money on a good one. They have their place as a humane and effective tool, and buying one of these herm sprengers is THE most effective and humane version of the tool. Dont go cheap. These are lifetime products.The black finish and black buckle look incredible. Love it.

Having a buckle built in by Herm Sprenger is huge. I've been buying aftermarket buckles for years. I also like the black color better than the silver or chrome.

This is an exceptional product. I’m replacing my older one with this because my dog has outgrown it. There are some notable improvements over the older versions. First, the collar now includes the click magnetic buckle, making putting it on and off much easier. My previous collar required a separate buckle, which was inconvenient. Additionally, it includes rubber grommets that secure the collar to the buckle, reducing the risk of the collar disconnecting. The stainless steel color is adorable and will last a long time. Overall, this is an outstanding collar, probably the best on the market. The only downside is that it’s not well-packaged, just in a plastic bag. However, if you’re getting it immediately to put on your dog, it doesn’t matter.

This has all the great hallmarks of a Herm Sprenger - nice smooth rounded prongs, even finish, and strong construction. The black finish has a nice matte appearance that does not stick out, and the biothane is smooth and sleek, and matches well in black. The click lock is a perfect addition, making it easy to put the collar on and off without needing to undo any prongs or slip it over the head.This is a fantastic product for anyone needing a prong to assist with training. Work with a trainer to ensure it is fitted properly and used effectively to get the most out of it.

Easy on and easy off. After I adjusted the links to my larger dog it fit perfectly. I found that I needed to open and shut the front "easy" clasp several times to get it to flow easily (for lack of a better term). Sprenger collars were recommended by our trainer to handle larger dogs and they work fantastic, this easier to use "easy on/easy off" collar is no exception.

High quality feeling and more discreet for the dogs with darker fur. A great training tool with proper education on how to use. Please make sure to do your research and work with a trainer before you use one, you can hurt your dog if you do not know what you are doing. Prongs are held together nicely and will not come apart.
