Herm. Sprenger Black Stainless Steel Dog Collar with ClicLock Buckle and BioThane insert
SIZE: To select correct collar size, you must refer to the listed Neck Sizes and not the overall length of the collar. If needed, adjust collar length by removing or adding pronged links to the desired length. Additional pronged middle links are sold separately.
Herm. Sprenger training dog collar with ClicLock buckle in a middle is a newly designed alternative to traditional prong training collars. Quickly unfasten the collar even with one hand by unlocking the buckle.
The prong collar is made of durable, rust resistant black stainless steel. This collar might not be ideal for dogs with white fur. The training collar offers strength and durability. With proper fit, the collar is safe for dogs and promotes positive training experience.
Herm. Sprenger training collar with ClicLock buckle is made in Germany and enhanced with the BioThane insert in the United States.
Assembly Chain
The Herm. Sprenger training dog collar features a martingale style assembly chain. The chain tightens the collar if the dog pulls on the leash while walking.
ClicLock Buckle
Comfort and security are offered by patented “ClicLock” buckle made of black stainless steel. The buckle is used to fasten the collar around the dog’s neck without pulling it over the head. Plastic jacket protects the clasp against unintended opening and soiling. The jacket is designed to slide out completely from an open buckle. If the jacket was lost, the function of the buckle mechanism will not be affected. The buckle functions as intended as long as you hear a loud click at the time of the closing.
Swivel D-Ring
Swivel D-Ring connects with the leash and provides a full 360-degree rotation. This feature prevents tangling and allows complete mobility of the leash.
BioThane Inserts Available in a Variety of Colors
Durable BioThane poly webbed material of the insert is made by coating polyester webbing with a polymer. The insert securely connects the buckle to the prongs of the collar.

Effective Training and Behavior Correction Tool
The training collar should fit snugly on the dog’s neck just under the jaw line, although, the collar should not fit too tight. The protective black plastic jacket on the buckle is designed to slide on and off the unfastened buckle. It is strongly recommended to use a backup collar while training your dog with the prong collar.
A properly fit training collar is safe to use and is a very effective training and behavior correction tool. Consider consulting with a professional trainer before use.

This Herm Sprenger prong collar with HS click lock buckle is awesome! It is so easy to open and close and I no longer have to worry about the links coming undone as they are still tight and should stay that way. This collar is absolutely perfect. I love the biothane connect points - it adds a nice pop of color while staying water proof. This collar comes with 10 removable links and I removed 4 to fit my 95lb German shepherd. This has the potential to fit a massive dog, like a mastiff. I would highly recommend this product. I wish it had 2 o-rings instead of the swivel ring, but that is just my preference. As for the effectiveness of the prong collar itself, it works just as well as the original HS prong collar.

Herm Sprenger makes great products. Unfortunately its more trouble for me to reach underneath my dogs neck to clip. I will be purchasing the standard top fastening Herm Sprenger collar.

We have a 4 month old black lab puppy. Our son recommended this collar, as his trainer had to him. We really like the color. It is easy to take on and off and is secure. She adjusted quickly to walking on her leash. It gets her attention so that she behaves on a walk.

Adjustability was okay, but the Chrome quickly turned to a copperish color. I wouldn't recommend this collar

as a dog trainer I’ve tested out many different brands of prong collars and Herm Sprenger is by far the best one. they’re easy to use, very high quality, and while they’re a little pricey, they’re worth the investment. the size and mm you want will depend on your dog, their breed, etc. but in general these prongs are incredibly effective training tools and with proper use are fantastic communication tools. i tend to favor the 2.25mm prongs and love that you can easily add or remove links to get the best fit for your dog. the quick release lock is super effective and adds an extra layer of security which is always a good thing.
