Before and after photos. The quality and structural integrity of it is amazing it's so much better than that garbage OEM one that you get from a parts store or anywhere else. When I took the old one off I could see how poorly it was made. This one not that I would recommend beating it with a hammer but it just feels so much nicer to have a nicer elbow rest that's not going to mushroom out when I rest my elbow on it when not shifting. Any 2002 Trans AM owners out there this is a must have upgrade. The locking hook yeah it may stick out alittle to prevent it from locking but I can easily grind it down alittle for that nice perfect close and fit. Regardless still a 5 star! Instillation was super easy.
