These connectors fit perfectly onto a car battery that I use to extend my solar system using a battery isolator. I don't know if it's intended to be used this way or not, but you can either clamp your wire in between the two pieces or use each bolt to hold a wire with a fitting. Either way, it gives me a safe and secure way to attach stuff to my battery and not risk a poor connection or sparks. Simply put, this is an inexpensive way to get it done.
