I wouldn't call it "tissue paper" but I used it nonetheless. If you tend to tear your gift bag tissue paper preparing the gift, this is the paper for you!! Nicely priced & sturdy enough bag for something with a bit of weight.

I purchased this Hallmark gift bag to use for a graduation gift at a party held on July 4th, and the bag itself was quite a hit at the party among the guests, at least one of whom wanted to know where I found it because they liked its looks and wanted to purchase one to have on hand to for later use.Overall, for a graduation gift bag, it was perfect. I (and everyone else) liked the metallic sparkle of the simple gold and silver graduation caps printed all over the bag, and someone actually commented on how good they made a plain black bag look. Size wise, the bag itself is medium sized. It certainly is too large for a single piece of jewelry, but too small for a full sized laptop, but it is perfectly sized to hold books, smaller electronics, smaller clothing items and things of similar size. As a graduation gift bag, it is suitable for all ages, which many graduation gift bags are not, and it is the typical quality gift bag that you would expect from Hallmark. The paper used is of a medium weight and thickness, sturdy enough to safely carry light to medium weight items in it without any fear of the gift bag tearing or splitting at a seam. The bag came with gold colored ribbon handles, and white tissue paper, but with no gift tag - so you do need to purchase either a card or provide your own gift tag to label your gift bag, unless there is only one possible recipient and they would know automatically who gave them the gift inside.

Nice fancy bag for grad presents. Cheaper than at store. It is 9 inches which isn't huge so use a ruler to figure out how big it actually is and if it will fit.
