Great toy great activity teaches great skillsIt's fantastic Guillows is still making these. It's the perfect thing for children... of all ages. If you want to have fun in the park outside with your kids, there's no greater bang for your buck. Just remember balsa ain't plastic. That's why these flies so well. And why you have to be careful when you put them together.

These are just like I remember as a kid. They are a lot of fun, but fragile when putting them together so you have to be careful. But they are absolutely worth it!

These planes are great. Takes me right back to the days of my youth. I have flown the same rubber band plane easily 15+ times. Even got it stuck on the roof and had to knock it down with a pool net. Still flies every time! Haven't even needed to assemble the other planes as the first one is flying great. I cut ailerons into the wings and can get about 8 seconds of flight time.

My 2 YO grandson loves planes. I bought dozens of these in my early youth. My rating on durability and sturdiness should not be taken the wrong way. These are very light weight thin balsa planes. Of course they are not durable. But they are fun as hell for youngsters who love planes.

These planes are awesome form a nostalgic sense but are really not that wonderful from another. We flew the planes for an hour or so as the rubber bands were flimsy and broke pretty much through the second and third flights. The planes of course are delicate as they are made of soft and light balsa wood. They fly pretty nicely for the first few flights then its all down hill once the rubber band snaps. They should supply a much stronger band. We will buy more but not until we buy the strong rubber bands which won't snap so easily. Nostalgia always gets a 3 star rating. :)
