First impression, this bass is beautiful! The finish is a high gloss polyurethane, the neck is shaped perfect for my beginner hands and the print figuring on the body is flashy in an understated way. The neck is flat and true. The hardware is acceptable.I am taking it in for a set up which will take a couple weeks, and replacing the original strings (though the stock strings are probably fine).I will update this review after I get the bass back with more insights on this instrument, but so far, 5 stars for the budget bass!
