I honestly got a similar pointer just weeks ago. It had rolled off my standard sized desk onto a carpeted floor and the ceramic holding the diode broke, and the pointer was then useless. So, I was glad to see this one show up in my list of items available.Green lasers (at least good ones) have a reputation for being strong and this one hits the mark. Looks cool with or without the scatter / kaleidoscope lens, especially in a very dark room. Shining outside always makes me jumpy cuz I don't want the FAA coming down on me if it flicks up into the air, cuz this thing will go a VERY long distance in a dark night sky.Very happy with this little guy. Nice to finally have a solid green laser pointer to annoy my son's cats. :D

My son has been having a ton of fun playing with this laser. However it charges with micro usb which makes no sense at all. Everything has moved to usb c so needing a micro to charge this is a pain
