This soft diffuser makes an amazing difference in the photo quality results you get when you use it. It really should have come from the factory with the flash from the get go because I would call this an absolute necessity if you are going to buy the IM20 flash. Take a look at the pictures I took of my dog. The one with the flash directly is blown out, while the one with the diffuser looks really nice, with deeper colors as well. This soft diffuser simply slides right over the front the of the flash, and is easy to use. I am literally blown away by the quality of my image after putting it on and it will live on my flash from now on. This is fantastic.

other than seriously diminishing the flash output by about 1-stop, it's difficult to see what this diffuser is actually doing.The photos attached were both taken with the flash at full power, ISO100 f/2.8.There is a slight difference in the quality, but overall the diffused image just appears less exposed.

Nice little accessory for your micro flash. Diffuses flash for softer light, perhaps not necessary.

So this is a perfect accessory for the Godox IM20 and something that frankly should be included with the IM20 product as part of the kit. That is the reason for the 4 star instead of a 5. Seems like a bit of money grab to have this as a $6 accessory. For about a $3 increase in the cost of the IM20 it could be included and save a bunch of packaging. Beyond that, it is $6 well spent if you have the Godox IM20.
