Very good value for the $ as long as you don't need a ton of power. If you are using these in daylight, forget it. Step up to a more powerful strobe. The controller isn't insanely intuitive, but there are hundreds of youtube videos on how to use the flashes and the controllers. I like the smaller form factor of the controller, and not having to tip my camera up to look at a screen on to check the settings. NiMH batteries (Panasonic Eneloops) seems to last forever in these things. I'm REALLY impressed by that part. I've never had any overheating issues, and range has also never been a problem. I would recommend and would purchase this package again in a heartbeat, as long as you aren't trying to overcome strong daylight.

Great flash system. Allows you to control the amount of light and angles when taking photos. The photo included was taking in a pitch dark room only using the flash on a half second delay. Perfect amount of light.

I was hoping buying a bundle would save me from programming the flashes with the trigger. But sadly no. They’re quality flashes and now after an hour I got them working like a charm.

Everything works really well. It’s great especially for the price. I’m very impressed by the quality of the speedlight units and the remote makes setting so easy. It’s an incredible deal. The filter gels are a bit flimsy but that’s not why I bought this.
