make sure to double check connectoer plug. Updated part has a different onnectoion. So far so good Not terribly difficult to replace. My model had a lower removable front access panel which made it much easierThe spindle in the old drain motor had broke off.

I just installed this pump in a GE Front load washer, and it fixed the problem. The washer stopped about 2 minutes into the cycle and a "pause" scrolled across the screen. After about 2 more minutes, the unit shut off and the door unlocked. It sounded like the water was filling up, but the drum didn't turn.Pros: fits good and works.Con: it's a little bit louder than the original pump.Start to finish less than an hour, all the screws you have to remove are #2 Phillips.Difficulty level 2, except for moving the machine, you have to gain access in the back to remove 3 screws that hold the top on.Unplug the machine and make sure the door is NOT locked. Remove the 3 screws in the back top, slide the top back about an inch, and gently lift up. Put the screws back in their positions. Next remove the screws on the top back side of the control panel, lift the control panel up and set it towards the back. You really do not need to unplug the panel. Next remove the little cover at the bottom front of the unit, and using a piece of tape hold the cup up. Remove the 3 white screws from the bottom front of the unit. Before you remove the 2 screws on the front upper corners,(the right corner screw had a white plastic piece that actually holds the control panel in place Don't loose it, you have to remove a steel band that holds the door gasket in place. On the very front edge of the gasket, you will see a spring, mine was next to the door hinge. With a set of needle nose pliers, gently grab hold of one side of the spring and lift up. The steel band will follow, take it completely off the gasket and set aside. Gently roll the gasket into the washer enough to clear the front lip of the door. Now find the door lock, push the gasket in to the basket behind the door lock and release the white tab at the top of the connector. Now at the top corners of the door, take out the 2 remaining screws. Shut the door and lift straight up about and inch or two and the door will come off. Once the door is out of the way, you will see 4 white plastic pins that hold the door in place. The pump is right in front a bit to the right. 2 #2 phillip screws hold it in place. Remove the two hose clamps and hoses first. Then remove the 2 wires to the right of the pump. These can be a bit stubborn, use steady pressure to pull them off. Take a picture first so you know which on goes where. Next remove the 2 screws and the wiggle the pump. Under the motor is a "L" shaped plastic tang that is in a rubber boot, as you pull up on the pump pull back and it should release. Now you are ready to install the new pump, and then reverse the process.Take you time, and you will be just fine, no brute force required, but some finesse will go a long way. There is going to be water in the pump and maybe in the hoses on the pump, so might want to have a couple of small towels handy. As you start the to put things back together, account for everything along the way.Make sure you reseat the door gasket all the way around before installing the steel band. Properly installed the gasket should be tight to the door, the steel band just holds it in place.I hope this helps, you may be able to find a video on your model.

It worked and replaced the original OEM pump on the washing machine after it failed. It matched up with all the screw holes and mirrored the exact spot the OEM came out of.

My washer wouldn’t drain. I always go oem but the parts where going to take too long so bought this one instead. Seems good so far for two months so I am happy with it for the price.

Bought this for my front load GE washer. Hardest part was gaining access to installation area of the part. Once I was able to gain access it took all of 5 minutes to install. Another 5 minute to turn upright and reconnect hoses. After that it was Laundry day! Everything worked like new. Very satisfied!
