I got these as a 16 year old girl, but even though they're designed for smaller children, they fit around my waist very well. The elastic is well made and hugs the body comfortably. The legs are the perfect parachute pant baggy and the color is exactly as shown. I will say, as with most pants, the elastic doesn't give the tight. flush against your body look. This is very expected, so it doesn't take away from the pant, but if that's the look/fit you want, this isn't the best product for it. Overall, great pants and can work for older teenagers.

These were actually way too big for my child who normally wears a 6/7. They are extremely cute, but won't fit her for a while. I would say the 6 would fit a child who is an 8. The quality is good, regardless of the fit. I got her pink, which is her favorite color. While these are super cute, they are too big, which is a bummer.

Snagged these Y2K parachute cargos for my tall 10-year-old and they’re an instant hit. The size 12 has plenty of length without drowning her, and the elastic waist sits snug but comfy. Fabric is light enough for summer play yet doesn’t feel flimsy, and those deep pockets actually hold her phone and snacks—big win. Stylishly baggy, easy to wash, zero complaints from the fashion-conscious kid. If your pre-teen loves the oversized look, grab a size up and you’re set.

I like these, they look nice. The material is soft and comfortable. Nice stretchy waist. The pockets are real. And can't hold stuff. But no way to secure it.The material it's not too thin, it has like the built in underwear, which is nice. They do seem to be kind of long for the age. It'll work good if your little one is taller.My real only complaint seems to be the wrinkles, if that bothers you otherwise, it'll be fine.

I got these for my daughter she's nine and she is 54 in and around 60 lb they're a bit loose on the waist but they fit well. They're a nice comfortable material not irritating at all the elastic ankles helps to make them not drag and there's definitely no complaints at all about the fit and hopefully they are nice and durable and last. If there's any problems I'll update and change that but I'm optimistic the fabric seems like it's thick enough to be a functional and durable pair of pants without being too hot.

The pants seem well-made and I'm happy with everything about them except...I took off one star because these pants arrived very wrinkled and because of the style they are nearly impossible to iron. I washed and dried first, which did not release the wrinkles. Low iron is allowed on the tag, but I used a hot iron with steam AND A PRESSING CLOTH to avoid melting or scorching the fabric. The fabric is 100% polyester, so I have some hope that future washings will not reinstate all the wrinkles that came from the initial shrink-wrapped packaging. The pants are really cute, but I have never before seen how this style is constructed--deep horizontal tucks in the side seams and inseam. Therefore, they cannot be laid flat for ironing, and it requires an ironing ham positioned and repositioned many times to attack the wrinkles. The pants have a partial interior lining, from about the waist to the bottom of the pockets, and that is a nice feature. These cargo pants are super cute and have a fun, Y2K vibe that my daughter loves! They fit well with the elastic waist and the pockets are a great touch. The only thing is the material feels a bit thin, so they’re better for summer or layering. Overall, a nice pair of pants for the price.

Got these for my 10 year old to wear to school since she likes baggy clothing. Loose fit on the legs but the waist is just right. The elastic on the bottom help keep her from dragging her pants and getting them dirty. Would recommend.
