I bought some stuff, here is a review.

I have had it for a week and have only run into one problem: There is a very small sweet spot where it actually connects. This meant that a slight movement, being placed in the wrong position, or gripping the device too tightly would make the battery disconnect. I was able to solve the problem by lining the front, back, and bottom of the battery compartment with a bit of paper, and now the battery stays in place unless the device is dropped from a few feet. Other than that, it works fine, and it lasts for about 6 or 7 hours on average.

Found my old PSP in a dusty corner of my closet after like ten years of never using it. Old battery had swollen up in an alarming way so I tossed that in the nearest dumpster and ordered this one; as soon as I plugged it in, my PSP was working great.

ordered it because my old battery died. It functions as expected. normally I like to give more in depth reviews but honestly there is not a lot to say. It fits and now my psp works. 10/10 would have something work as expected again

So, lately the products I have ordered off Amazon have been really great. So great in fact, I have fallen into the habit of not reading customer reviews. I assure you, I will not repeat that mistake going forward.I ordered this battery since my PSP 3000 original battery that I have had for years finally began to slip. For the price and nearly twice the capacity, this seemed like a bargain. I have had success with cheap substitutes for my other electronic purchases, so I figured this would not have any issues. After receiving this battery, I installed it in my PSP even though it seemed to not fit quite right. Should have been my first clue, I suppose. I was able to coax the battery into place, snap the compartment shut, and plug in the charger to see the familiar orange glow from the charging LED come on. I let it charge for almost 24 hours before noticing the light turned off, indicating it was fully charged. Since I was not actively playing anything, I left the PSP off the charger and went on vacation for 10 days. When I came back, I attempted to turn on the PSP on battery power only, but to my surprise it would not turn on. I plugged in the charger, and was further surprised to see the orange LED flash steadily, indicating some issue with the power. I was also asked to reset my system clock, and the battery status was completely blank in the settings. With the exception of the power LED (which alternated orange and green when powered on), the PSP was behaving as though there was no battery installed. I reseated the battery in a vain attempt to troubleshoot, but the battery was not usable whatsoever.Usually I am able to get SOME use out of bad products, but not with this piece of junk. I suppose it does deserve one star since it didn't explode or leak while I was away. I have seen some reviews stating it works for a little while, but that was not my experience. Not worth any price if it doesn't work at all.

The battery arrived today, and I actually find it to be of superior quality to the official Sony equivalent. For one, it doesn't just sit loosely in the battery compartment, like the official Sony battery does. This is important, considering that I lost the battery door due to the tabs breaking off (so I use a strip of duct tape instead). Thank you very much for selling me this battery, and again I apologize for raising such a stink over its delayed delivery. No need to send another battery via UPS.

Works great. Pure plug and play. Lasts about 3 hours with non stop play on the lowest (darkest) display setting. It gets over 2 hours on the highest (brightest) display setting, so there isn't much difference. It takes about that much time (2-3 hours) to fully charge back up.Also, the display setting really only matters outside, where there is a lot of light, or when the game you are playing is dark or has dark scenes/areas.Reminder/Caution on these types of batteries:Take the battery out if you wont be playing for extended amounts of time (I say extended means more than a few months). Reason is that these types of batteries (like ones that go in your cell phone or similar devices -- and all batteries in general) can expand (or get corroded) and mess up the battery compartment. They will be worthless if they expand. If you do store it, use a silica pack to soak up moisture.Just remember to pay attention to the elements your PSP and battery will be exposed to. Heat, liquids, non-use, etc...can shorten battery life or damage it.

The battery I received was not what I ordered. I ordered the "slim 2400mAh" battery but I got the "fat 1800mAh" battery.

Great battery worked just fine, I had an old PSP that the battery had died and my 6 year old wanted a PSvita and now he is playing with PSP and he thinks is a PSvita. Battery worked great it saved me a ton of money no need to buy PSvita for a while until my 6 yr old figures out that he does not have a PSvita I will try to keep him away from his friends that have the new machine for as long as I can. As far as the battery I have changed it and is not in use for a month and no problems, shipping was also fast.

Hi, It's not much to say, i had use this battery for a while, it's last for 1.5 hours, don't put your screen light too high, it does not less long for any kind of battery. People said it's sucks, but i think it's alright. As long as you know how to fix the problem, if you are installing Customer Homebrew, your psp might broke, and when you connect the usb to computer it might break the psp battery, just short circuit it should work for couple more month. Just check the youtube.
