if you are going to plug your entire house into generaotr, this is a must, no joke. not much to say about quality as it is just a flat piece of metal but it is nice the drill bit for installation is included as well as the warning stickers. jsut make sure this will fit your particular breaker box

Honestly I am impressed. A generator interlock for your main panel is a great cost alternative to any generator transfer switch (automatic or manual) and combined with a generator inlet connection lets you power your home with a portable generator (within capacity). The moveable interlock is made from 3mm aluminum and the fixed bracket is 2.5mm aluminum - this is entirely within reasonable and customary for this type interlock. This specific application is the Eaton/CutlerHammer BR type main panel. This is decently machine punched metal with a light uniform tumbled/blasted finish. See our pics. Also included is labels - caution and warning, drill bit for holes in your panel face, zip ties for assertively securing the breaker and instructions.We hope this information is helpful in your decision.
