I ordered this Garden Hose Nozzle with a built-in soap dispenser specifically for tackling exterior cleaning tasks around my house, and I'm genuinely impressed with its performance.This tool is absolutely fantastic for washing windows. The process is incredibly simple and efficient: I just fill the dispenser with my concentrated outdoor window washing solution, spray the rich foam onto the windows, then simply switch the knob to "Water" for a thorough rinse. My windows are now sparkling clean with minimal effort! While my primary use is window washing, its 8 spray patterns and general functionality mean it's also perfectly suitable for watering plants and other typical garden hose tasks.I do have two minor points of critique. First, the product came with no instructions. However, it proved to be quite intuitive to assemble and operate, so it wasn't a major hurdle. Second, the item arrived with a quick-connect attached, along with several random quick-connect fittings. None of these were useful or necessary for my standard hose connection, which felt a bit superfluous.Despite these small issues, I adapted and prevailed! The core functionality of this foam gun is excellent, making outdoor cleaning much easier and more effective. If you're looking for a versatile hose nozzle that excels at applying soap and rinsing, particularly for windows, this is a great choice.

So first off, this does actually function. There's some things that need mentioning though.In the box you get a number of adapters without labels or indicators as to which one fits to what. The good thing here is that once you remove the pre-installed adapter on the sprayer itself it's threaded to receive a male 'garden hose' fitting. This will fit directly on to a hose, or you could screw in a quick connect and go that route.I had a spare quick connect laying around so I decided to try that and see how it went.I was honestly surprised to find that it didn't leak a drop. That's a good thing because the entire unit is plastic so there's no reinforcement should you reconnect it multiple times. I'd HIGHLY recommend a quick connect adapter or similar so as to not overstress the plastic internal threading if you need to disconnect the sprayer to use attach something else.The body is a hollow and thin-walled plastic and if I shake it at all I can hear something rattling in the trigger area of the sprayer. It doesn't sound critical, but without tearing it apart entirely I can't confirm. The trigger does function and holds in the on or off position with an audible click when it's engaged or disengaged. After I finished testing it I forgot that I'd clicked the trigger 'off' (it's on or off, there's no variable adjustment to water flow) and pulled the quick disconnect only to get blasted in the face. It really does a good job of not leaking under pressure during at least the first use.The soap dispensing function is controlled via a dial on the top of the unit. Again, and audible click indicates that it's locked in on whatever setting it's turned to. On one end you truly seem to get only water, and on the other water rapidly cycles through what's titled in the product images as "The foam containers". The point to mention here is that water flows through the container's inlet directly in, then pushes the contents through the outlet. This does accomplish the goal of moving the diluted contents out, but that dilution strength will rapidly change as it's flushed through. Because soap or whatever else isn't being dispensed and mixed evenly with the water flow you start with 100% strength out of the container and end up at zero percent over time. If it's a generally clear soap, you might not really have much idea as to when the soap is totally gone and you're just spraying water. There's plenty of products out there that do that, but at this very aggressive price point I don't know if it's a reasonable expectation.As far as longevity goes, I don't have high expectations. The internal threading, as well as the the exterior lacking any real reinforcement leads me to believe that even with careful use you'd likely end up just wearing out a mission critical part.I can't really imagine this fitting into any real life usage scenario, or lasting for any significant amount of time given the materials, but it does technically function.
