This pet ramp can be considered portable as it is foldable, but note that it is still very heavy, and it does not exactly disappear into thin air when folded. I found it to be of good design and sturdy nature. The non-slip carpet is a good feature, but it would require some effort to clean in rainy, muddy days. It folds easily, but two things did not go away by folding. First is of course the weight. You can store it in the back of your car without any problems as you won't have to carry it, but if you plan to take it to place, it is heavy. But heavy is good for having a sturdy item. The second is the size and how it would rest when folded. Folded size still takes up some space, but a bigger problem for me was that it is probably not safe to think that it will stand in its folded form. I would have loved to store it at home, standing up, but found it to be risky, especially considering its weight. But still, this is quite a good dog ramp. But I also wish that all of the visuals on their product page were not photoshopped.

Our Irish Terrier, Rocco has entered the geriatric phase of his life. He is 45 pounds, which makes it difficult for me to lift him with my questionable back. I ordered the GaliGali Dog Ramp hoping that he will get the idea of how to use it. So far, he doesn't quite understand the purpose. When the weather warms up a bit, one of us will have to stay in the car and coax him to come up. But I think that he will take to it more easily than a lightweight, but bulky pair of steps.The ramp is a quality, heavy weight, around 15 pounds, to make it very stable. I am certain that when Rocco decides to use it, it will be more than sufficient to hold his weight. What is really nice is that although the length of the ramp is ample enough to allow for a lower incline, it still folds and stores nicely for transport and is easy to carry. The surface a is not only non-slip, but also provides a graded texture to allow him to walk up more easily even if his paws are a bit muddy. Additionally, the end that goes onto the ground has heavy rubber feet, that will also help with stability. The opposite end has a nice curve that allows the ramp to easily secure to your car. We have an SUV, so we plan to have to enter easily through the back. Overall, the GaliGali Dog Ramp is a quality product at an affordable price. I am hoping that Rocco will make good use of it for many years to come.

The non-slip carpet on the surface is fantastic it provides great traction, even when it’s wet or muddy. My dog can walk up and down without slipping, and it doesn’t seem to irritate his paws either. The carpet is also removable, making it easy to clean when needed, which is a big plus.The ramp folds up easily, and it’s lightweight enough that I can carry it without much effort, but still sturdy enough to feel secure when my dog uses it.

I purchased this with another dog ramp that appears to be the same design. However, the other dog ramp is 1ft longer than this one. That is what I need though, since my center console sits at 68 inches from the back door. I can fit the other dog ramp just off to the side of the center console and this one up to it. In combination with some support legs, it gives me a very stable bedframe!The carpet isn't that comfortable to lay on, but I intend to add an air mattress to my setup. This dog ramp idea is something I never thought about but glad I came across it when I did. It is sturdy, easy to unfold and fold back up, as well as stow away without creating a large footprint. I recommend it.

I love how easy this is to pack up and unfold. The handle is very convenient and comfortable. I feel like it could be in a better place though because when unfolding, if you aren’t careful you could catch your fingers/hand.The carpet is very nice to provide a non slip surface. My kids have tried to slide down in jeans and can’t.It is pretty sturdy, I’m 150 pounds and I walked up it safely; it’s a little give in it but doesn’t move too much.Here is the bad: my dog is afraid of it. He isn’t use to a ramp but in his old age, he is having trouble with his hips. A few months ago he jumped from the truck and hurt his hip pretty bad and it took a while to recover. Since then I have been picking him up to put him in the truck or take him out (he is every bit of 70 lbs so it’s not as delightful as it sounds 😂)When trying to train him to go up it, I put a harness on him with a handle and he tried jumping off of it half way up. We have tried treats but I’m afraid it may be more trouble training him than it’s worth. I’m afraid he may hurt himself more trying to learn to use it.However my kids love this thing and have enjoyed pretending to be dogs to go up it so it’s not a total fail. 😂The ramp is great though. It’s not the ramps fault my dog is stubborn and if you have a dog that is more easy going then this could be a great product for you. My dog is old and set in his ways so unfortunately this isn’t a good product for us.I gave this 4 stars because I feel like other dogs will be just as scared to use it but the quality is so nice that it’s really an A plus for the manufacturer’s effort!

GaliGali Dog Ramp for Car, Portable Folding Pet Stair Ramp with Non-Slip Carpet, 63" Long & 17.3" Wide, Wider Dog Ramp Allow Medium to Large Dogs Up to 250 lbs to Enter Car, SUV and Truck GALILVTI160. This arrived folded up inside of a plastic bag and then that was boxed inside of its own box, packaged inside of an Amazon box. It arrived quickly after ordering. I bought this to replace another ramp I have had for years for my large breed dogs. This is a very nice ramp and it folds up easily. I like the fact that it's got the carpeting for traction on it so it's easy for the dogs to get in and out without slipping. My old ramp did have raised sides on it so the dog's feet didn't slip off of the edges that this ramp does not have. However, the carpeting has such a good traction that I don't think that that is going to be an issue. My dogs run up and down the ramp with no hesitation. But they have been using a ramp their entire lives and they're all over 10 years old now. Its comfortable on their feet and it stores nicely in my vehicle. It's a great value for the money.

First thing I noticed is how small it packed for how heavy it is. This ramp is a solid and sturdy option, so it does have some weight to it. The ramp consists of 4 panels that fold into themselves, and unfold to create the ramp. It easily helps my 75+ pound dog up and down the tall back of our car, and in award spots. The surface provides excellent grip for his paws, and I've never felt unsafe about him using it. Overall, hefty, but a solid choice that should last for a long time.

Unfortunately i have had to change my review as the second panel has begun to dip in the middle and I will have to return this. This says it holds 250 lbs but that would be a bit of a stretch. My dog finds it a too narrow for her resulting in a couple of falls she is a golden/ shepherd cross. I use this so my girl can get in and out of our motorhome and would prefer about a foot wider
