The table is nice, but the balls and pump that were supposed to come with the table were not in the box. Had to scrounge up some other balls to use, and they worked fine, but the darn thing was supposed to come with two balls and a pump.

We love spike ball so when we saw this we immediately wanted to give it a try. The first set they sent us had a warped/deformed ball. We returned it and now we have this second set...after the first use (of about 30 min of light play) the net is already tearing and one of the sides is separating from the Velcro sleeve. It takes forever to assemble and is not meant for transport to the beach etc like we assumed. It requires tools and screws and takes a good 20 min to set up and take down. We couldn't be more disappointed with the overall quality and now they say my return window has closed even though we just received this replacement a couple weeks ago. We finally used it for the first time this week and this is how it's falling apart already. Super disappointed.

My teen boys were excited to assemble and play. They got rambunctious with their friends and bumped the plastic net post & it snapped off - 10 minute into first use. I glued & reinforced that side. Shoe Goo to the rescue. Two days later, on second use, not 10 minutes more, the other post SNAPPED OFF, after the ball hit the net!! No other force or impact. Clearly a design flaw.Changing from 2 to 1 stars, as a reinforced posts broken on third use. Still attached because of so much Shoe Goo, but clearly broken.

We purchased the more expensive metal frame version as a Christmas gift. Once assembled and upon the first serve, the only plastic piece on the unit shattered rendering it useless. We immediately got in touch with Franklin Sports. They were responsive and offered to send out replacement parts. 3 times we've received packages and we were hopeful we could finally fix this and play. All 3 replacement parts have been wrong. They finally sent us a pdf of their parts manual. We selected the part by a specific number. The part came but for the plastic version. Turns out they don't have the replacement part for the metal structure. We have not been able to play this once. I'm hoping that Amazon or Franklin Sports sees this review and will offer us a refund.

This is a fantastic game. Took it to a family reunion and it was the game that most everybody wanted to play. We accidentally got real competitive and broke a net support. I contacted Franklin wanting to purchase new ones and they don’t sell them but they sent me more for free. They were very helpful and had great product support.

The Spyderball Pong was extremely simple to set up. You should note, very important, the tubes are not cylindrical. They are all oval as are the connectors. Once set up it is very light and can be moved almost anywhere. The "ping pong" and "volleyball" are different and you will have to adjust your style of play. The major drawback for us is the height. The "flat surface" is 8' x 4'. The write-up states it is 28" high. Once assembled ours measured only 26" high. Too low for many kids and teens.Fun and unique. Requires less hand-eye coordination than traditional ping pong since Th balls are bigger and you don't have to use the paddles.

I haven't played with it yet. The net was improperly sewn on on side so there is no hole to put in support beam. The tension in the net is tight so it was tough putting the poles in the connectors.. one cracked a bit. YES I know the tension is key.. With that being said.. I'm glad I chose metal option because I bet the plastic option will not hold up to the guys in my family. I followed directions at and then tossed aside and used logic. I notified manufactory about defect.. they haven't had time to correct at this review.
