A very nice unit. Works perfectly and the built in meter is handy, even if it reads low on power. A pair of exceptionally flexible and well terminated 2' 2AWG cables is included.The output is a good sinewave. Not perfect under load but very good and had no trouble with a fickle load.The optional remote display is very clear and mirrors the display on the unit itself. It connects with a flat cable terminated with RJ45s. Note however that this cable is wired straight. Although it looks like a network cable, it isn't.Sturdy screws and wall plugs are included to mount the inverter as well as smaller screws to mount the remote.The fan is reasonably loud, typical for the size. Not excessive but certainly not something you'd want in earshot for long.I tested with a modest load, an inverter based window air-conditioning unit. During testing the max load I hit was 289W/301VA as measured by a separate power meter. The built in meter showed 240W at that point so it reads low. (The meter I used compares well with other meters so I am inclined to take that higher reading as more accurate.) The built in voltage readings for both input and output are accurate however. Pictured is the output under that load.Good efficiency. I measured 82% efficiency with that 289W load. While that's well below the rated 92% I was only 1/5th the max power and it is expected that efficiency is lower when not well loaded.Overall an excellent inverter.

For a 1500 watt inverter, this thing is actually pretty impressive. Most of the ones I’ve tested before were smaller and would overheat pretty quickly, but this one has a big housing with two built-in fans so the ventilation is way better. The fans can get a little loud depending on how hard it’s working, but it’s not a dealbreaker. I really like that it comes with heavy-duty battery cables, which shows they didn’t cheap out on the basics. It’s meant for 12V setups and works great for RVs, especially with the remote digital display that lets you power it on or off without crawling down to wherever you mounted it. The only heads-up is the instructions could be clearer, especially around grounding, so if you’re not super comfortable with wiring you’ll probably want to double-check with someone who is.
