I bought a new built and didn’t like the faucets and shower hardware and when I went to change out the tub spout the pipe was too short for the Kohler tub spout so I thought this extender would help extend the pipe. Unfortunately, the flange on the end that goes against the wall impeded the spout and I could not seed it close to the wall.This extender is a white plastic and measures 3.94 inches and will fit a 1/2 inch copper pipe. This adapter fit the pipe perfectly but the spout wouldn’t go past the flange. Also included in the package was a reducer ring, a fitting adapter, an O ring, rubber gasket and retaining ring as well as plumbers tape. All of this for less than $10 which is a great buy, comparable ones are several dollars more. I am sure this adapter would fit other brand name spouts but it will not fit Kohler, unfortunately for me. Now I will probably have to call a plumber

I couldn't find this accessory at plumbing store, so I tried searching on Amazon. Luckily, I found the accessory I needed here and followed the installation instructions, and all the parts necessary to make the conversion worked perfectly.
