Just putting the review out there this will work for the stock OEM 2008 F150 slider. Pretty much an identical replacement. Only reason for 4 stars is it does have some kind of squeak when depressing the latch but not a deal breaker by any means. I used about a 1/2 tube of permatex max strength gel to set and clamped it on overnight. Easy fix overall, just be careful on the gluing so as not to smear it on the glass. The back is recessed so it takes quite alot of gel to get it at a level where it will glue the latch to the glass. Seems the OEM was some type of black silicone like adhesive maybe done with heat at the factory.

Replaced on my 2002 F150. Had to also buy some JB weld for plastic to fill the 4 corner holes. Used some mirror adhesive in the middle. No issues.

I have used this latch on all 99-04 f-150’s with a slider. Remember to remove all old adhesive. I used 3m heavy duty double sided with jb weld works perfect

Amazons vehicle fitment guide states this won't work with F150's post 2003. However, I ordered this on a whim for my 2012 F150 and the part is an exact match to the original. So, I would confidently say this will fit 2009-2014 F150's with the manual sliding rear window (I can't comment on 2004-2008). Knocking one star off, only due to the fact it appears to be more cheaply made than the original part.

Worked well on a 1988 Jeep Comanche rear sliding window. Only required minor modification to work (file down the bumpstop). I know it's not intended for this model, but it has long sense been discontinued and this is the closest thing I could find.
