This worked great on my 2014 ford f150 fx4 5.0l. Had to buy M10 x 1.5" tapping bit to make threads to screw in the hardware, and they are heavy duty. Would buy again!

Will not work for 2023 F150 as delivered. No grommet for bolt to screw into open center mounting hole. Had to buy an appropriately threaded nut and washer and remove twilight to mount. Other grommets fit.

There were no threads in the hole that the bolt went into on the truck. Thankfully the bolts are steel and thread themselves into the aluminum, but it's not easy.

Worked just fine. I think the only reason it's listed as not working is because you have to run a 3/8-16 tap into the holes in the bed. After that, thread right in no problem. Just remember, aluminum bed some only half an ugga dugga.

The bolts were very easy to install once the holes were tapped. YOU DO NEED TO TAP THE HOLES TO INSTALL THE BOLTS. A couple of the plastic hole covers had broken during install. The covers are not necassary at all when it comes to the function of the tailgate extender and have all broken since installing and thats the only reason this was not a 5 star review.
